Now and again you stumble across a small sanctuary from tumbles of life. The simplicity of a hotdog, awesome Cuban sandwiches, ice cream to die for, Wine, beer also serve by just carrying people. Time stops. Immediately of life changes. The simplicity of the hotdog. We did not find it pricey. We found the food really tasty. And the widest variety as well. Go, enjoy!

As a Chicago girl, I can tell you these are the closest thing you will get to real Chicago dogs. Joe and his wife are the kindest people! My boyfriend and I stopped in here shortly after they opened and had a wonderful experience. I have ordered to go multiple times since. Joe and his family have worked extremely hard to get this place up and running.10/10 Recommend. Some people will complain about the prices, but look at the society we live in nowadays. Prices are worth every penny.

I didn’t have very high hopes due to reviews about high prices and lower food quality. To that extent, I’d like to make it clear that the prices were quite reasonable considering all the licensing they’ve done (Vienna Beef, Dunedin Bagels, the Ice Cream Club, etc.) and the quality of the food itself. The bun and meat were quite tasty, but the potato salad was a bit too sweet and the sauerkraut could’ve had some more flavor. Light on the mustard, but more is available for no cost. I think overall I really appreciated the kind service and improved interior. I’d go back!!

I had Chicago dog and Italian beef and fries. I’ve literally eaten thousands of these all over the world. The flavor was there, but the execution was really poor. From slightly stale buns to almost ice cold food not hot enough to melt the provolone. Small portion sizes and fries not hot or golden but all stuck together in a clump. This food was made fresh in front of me. There is no fryer on site, not sure what method they use, but they are not good. So if spending 25 dollars for crap is your thing, this is your place!!!

I really wanted to like this restaurant and give them a good review. Their food was tasty however, the small portions, long wait, and the high prices overshadow everything.

The atmosphere and decor is not very interesting but, that wouldn’t necessarily discourage me from going there. The main issues are that everything is a la carte and small portioned. Their sandwich was more bread than filling and it was soggy. Two regular hotdogs, one sandwich, an order of fries, and a few bottled drinks came up to $42+, and that’s before a tip. We left feeling like we had a small snack but paid full-service restaurant prices.

They should institute some meal combinations or a kids’ menu to bring down prices or add value to the food. Countryside HS is across the street and this should be a prime hangout for kids after-school. However, if I saw these prices as a kid I probably couldn’t afford to eat at this place.

Very clean and spacious restaurant with plenty of indoor seating. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Their menu has quite a few options and the 3 dogs we got were delicious! Great pricing too. They also have endless ice cream options!

Snowbirding as usual, and the first stop off was good… not excellent, but good. Came back from PR and tried again it may have well been a bakery, all bread and breakfast links for hot dogs not as pictured. I am a Coney Island Nathan Feldman guy and stadium eater. TOO MUCH FAKENESS! Never again too hard to enter, anyway, off of McMullen. What a pain!

Quality. Quality. Quality. Quiet hot dog is served on a crinkled wrapper bed. Way better than I expected. Bagel 1000 percent amazing!

I stopped by Joe’s Hotdog today. The lady at the counter was pleasant when I walked in, but the other girl who made my food didn’t wash her hands or put on gloves — big red flag. The hot dog bun was cheap and plain, nothing like the seeded buns they show in their ads or what you’d get in Chicago or New York. The toppings were mediocre, and the overall presentation didn’t match the photos at all. The advertising feels misleading, and the quality just isn’t there. I wouldn’t go back. Honestly, you’d get a better hot dog at Wawa or by making one yourself. Lesson learned.
