We have passed this place for years and tonight decided to try it for dinner after being at the nearby ballpark.
We were surprised by the salsa; it was very nice compared to some of the ones we had lately. I ordered the California Burrito while the wife ordered a Steak Chimichanga.
The food was out promptly and both dishes were very good. We sat and enjoyed our meal and chatted a bit with our nice and attentive waitress.
All in all a nice dining experience.

The food here is great, but the service could use some work. On 3 out of my 4 visits, the staff seemed forgetful, often not bringing food until reminded. There were also issues with order accuracy all the time, requiring frequent corrections.

Best entertainment around. (shít) the hot dog soup my boyfriend got was scrumptious. Salsa was everywhere, it was great. steak on the other hand is only seasoned on the lunch menu… (they don’t serve lunch on sundays) 10/10 recommend. if i could give more stars i would.

Wow. That’s all I can say for the experience we had today. We were a large party and it took about 20 min for anyone to even come and take our order. Then we waited over 35 minutes for our food, and when it finally did come, two of our party didn’t get their food!! We were in that restaurant for an hour and a half!!! We had an event across the street. It was not even busy in the restaurant. We had to ask twice for our checks, never got them. We finally walked up to the cash register and he still could not find our checks. Worst experience ever and we were late for our event. An hour should be plenty of time to get in and out of a non busy restaurant!! None of us will be back!!!

We’ve been enjoying our visits to El Azteca. Their fajitas are very good with properly cooked vegetables and well spiced meats. The margaritas have a nice flavor as well without that artifical margarita mix taste. Prices are quiet reasonable, and the kids like their pizza or chicken strips well enough. No real complaints through all of our visits.

Sign said closing at 10 pm, arrived around 730. Before finishing meal, they already had half of the dining area cleaned and inaccessible. Waitress spilled an entire drink on me, I kept my cool. Food was good, but not for the pricing in my opinion. 1 taco plate and 1 enchilada plate and 2 drinks cost over $50.
