Handy’s, thank you for this truly amazing and delicious American experience! We loved the food, owner’s warm welcome and being surrounded by the history of this place. If you’re not sure how you like your eggs prepared, chef knows over 10 styles;)

Searched “best Ruben” and Handy’s popped up.
The owner made my Ruben fresh
Bread toasted to perfection. Sauerkraut and dressing the right amount. Added flavor but didn’t take away from the star of the dish- the Pastromi.
Great quality, cooked perfect.
Huge sandwich.
Fries were crispy.
Great friendly place.
Definitely would come back and support a local business that makes great food

If you like old school diners this is a gem. The food is basic but tasty, the staff is friendly and the seating is stools around the horseshoe counter and that is it. The food is decently priced for what you get. We got the big daddy with blueberry pancakes and the McHandy. The big daddy had fluffy eggs and tasty pancakes. The McHandy would have been better with a different cheese but that is not an option.

I can’t begin to describe how phenomenal the experience here was. Yes, it’s a dive spot. But it has character and the food is sublime. The owner is a great guy to chat with who knows all his regulars and he serves up affordable grub in a no frills environment. The sandwiches are bordering on absurd with how big they are but perfectly composed and a great value. Everything is cooked as you like and made fresh to order. A must stop in Burlington.

This place is great, your quintessential greasy spoon diner! It was busy when we arrived, but there were a few open seats still available at the counter. They only have counter seating, but there are about 13-15 seats. I ordered eggs and bacon which came with home fries and choice of toast, I chose rye. My sister tried the SST which she said was beyond amazing. My food was hot and very tasty too. Definitely a locals type place, but they didn’t flinch an eye when us “strangers” showed up. Great service, great food, limited hours, but worth it!

Stopped in for breakfast while on a Dudes trip to Burlington to see Stavros Halkias comedy show.
This place is awesome ….. Great food great atmosphere and great people. Sat down and started talking with the owners like we’ve been going there for years.
My buddy Levi took down the chuck Norris breakfast sandwich like it was his job in under 5 minutes …. Would have been quicker if it wasn’t hot and fresh off the griddle …… They might re-name it the Levo Lane.
I wish this place was closer to home because I would definitely be a regular.
If you’re in the area or even close make sure you stop in and enjoy.

Amazing find while we were on vacation!
The owner, Earl (aka Duke of Burlington) knew the locals by name and made us feel so welcome! The food is insanely good, and the home town feel was just as great. You must try his chili dog and the McHandy breakfast sandwich. Doesn’t hurt that Earl is a dead ringer for Russell Crow! Run, don’t walk to Handy’s Diner.
