It was like being in a New York City deli.
If you can imagine it they have it deli wise
Food was fabulous, our group had chicken soup, flounder sandwich, breakfast bagel, a rubin sandwich, fried eggs and lox.
Everything was good enough to brag on.
Prices were excellent. Amount of food was great
Home fried were especially good
What a delight finding this place.
Like a bit of home while away.

First time trying Ruven’s and I must say I am a fan. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the new owner Herode was very nice! The Cobb salad was delicious. I would definitely recommend Ruven’s and I will definitely be back for more!!

Visiting from NC where its a deli desert and was very excited to try. First the complimentary coleslaw slaw and real deli pickles just like the old days…the coleslaw slaw outstanding! I ordered a tuna melt…darn they used chunk tuna so it was just ok. French fries were great though. Good experience…will def go back….

This establishment needs to up there game. In particular, Service, and ensuring to-go orders are executed correctly.

My experience…placed an in person order, 1lb pastrami, 1.5 lbs of cole slaw, half of rye, sour & half sour pickles, sides of deli mustard and Russian dressing.

Only received 1lb of cole slaw when I paid for 1.5, no half sour pickle, no deli mustard packed, and no Russian dressing.

When I brought my concern to the counters attention, didn’t get an apology, didnt receive a credit or refund and surely did not receive what I asked and payed for.

Congratulations to the new owners. You’ve lost my business for lack of Service and a positive guest experience.

.I met friends for lunch about 2 weeks ago and have been back 3 times since. Our servers Lucy and Tara were great. Steven the owner is great. The hot open turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes gravy, and cranberry dressing is fabulous. Fresh sliced turkey, the coleslaw is the best ever. My wife had a salad that she raved about. I snuck a peek at the next table and saw home fries that I can’t wait to try. The wraps are fantastic and I’ll be trying their baked goods next time. If only they had stuffed derma. Looking forward to breakfast and dinner there soon.
The negatives? $13.00 for a qt. Of soup to go.
Since the owner has changed so has everything else, not going back !

My wife and I went to Ruven’s for Thanksgiving dinner. The restaurant is very close to my home. I hadn’t been there for a long time, but when I read that there was a new owner after 35 yrs, we thought we’d give it a try again.

A very, very pleasant surprise awaited us. Ruven’s had three sittings on Thanksgiving. I attempted to make a reservation for 5pm, but they were booking, so I got a reservation for the final sitting at 7:15pm.

A large group of people were waiting to be seated at 7pm for the 7:15 sitting. By 7:15, everyone was greeted, seated by our host and then approached by our delightful server who immediately took our drink order. Waiting for us on our table was a 1/2 loaf of warm bread and butter. There was also a nice dish of cole slaw which was a nice touch.

Our server was pleasant and told us about our dinner options since it was a fixed menu for Thanksgiving. We knew this in advance.

I ordered the turkey, gravy and stuffing, sweet potatoes and green beans almandine.
Cranberry sauce, not from the can, was also served. We also got soup to start. I got mushroom barley which hot and tasty, while my wife got the matzo ball soup which she loved. Neither soup was overly salted which was a bonus.

My wife had the brisket, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans almandine. There was enough meat for both of us to bring home plenty of leftovers.

For dessert we had a choice of three different pies. We each got a slice of coconut custard which I brought home and ate with a cup of coffee. The pie was delicious .

Our food was served, presented and prepared very well and we had a nice time. We are looking forward to dining at Ruven’s again.

I’ve been here a few times and at this point it’s not amazing? My grandpa likes it but I got a salad last time and somehow the salad tasted bad. At the same time they’re known for their sandwiches and I’ve only tried the turkey one, which was good.

I have no idea what these other reviews are talking bad about. I go there every time I visit my aunt who lives near there and this place is always fantastic. The pastrami sandwich is just like the best ones from NYC. Will be stopping in again in a few weeks and can’t wait

We’ve been to Ruvens many times. I always enjoy the hot open turkey sandwiches.
My husband tried the turkey pot pie. Unfortunately, it was very watery inside with very little turkey at all. The server was very nice but extremely slow. We will try again.

I work as a delivery driver, and while I was checking my order on the road, one of the employees kindly gave me a free coffee. (Fernando )I really loved how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Thank you so much! I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
