For $36 dollars we got all this amazing food plus drinks!!!
So, aside from the food being amazing and such an amazing price, the service is excellent. Everyone was so nice and answered all the questions we had about the different dishes. Also, for a non-NOLA spot, the gumbo is fantastic! I wish I could eat here everyday…it’s that good. Try this place out, you won’t regret it!
Also, the bathrooms are so clean. That’s a huge plus! In fact, it’s one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything was perfect!

Maybe I caught them on a off-day but the owners response is reason enough to never come back. — My experience was a complete waste of $125!

As someone originally from Maryland, my experience was awful. I received overcooked crabs filled with water and that had mushy meat (see photo)!

Calling these crabs Maryland-style is a disgrace. It was clear that the crabs were just reheated (NOT COOKED FRESH AS THE OWNER CLAIMS) and were not steamed fresh upon ordering. The cost was prohibitive and a waste of money for the dozen crabs I ordered. The crab pretzel was decent but had way too much mayo. NEWS FLASH to the owner’s response below THERE IS MAYO in the crab dip you put on top of your pretzel! It’s one of the main ingredients, and y’all put far too much of it in your recipe.

Overall I would not recommend this place. Certainly not worth the drive from New Orleans.

In response to the owner’s comments: you cannot ensure the crabs were cooked fresh when you were not there, and there was no manager on duty on 1/29/23. In fact, the kid at the cash register didn’t even know the difference between male and female crabs. Take ownership of your lackluster execution of mushy crabs that have no business being called “Maryland Style” when you’re not delivering excellence.

Very very perplexed about this. There was some menu items that were great, some just ok, and others borderline inedible.

First, the crab cakes a severe disappointment. Not very flavorful and tons of shell pieces. Normally the shells wouldnt bother me, grew up picking my own crabs and all, but it was a lot.

The salad was decent and fried chicken on top was good . The shrimp roll was good but for a six inch popboy with no sides, it was somewhat pricey and I didn’t feel it was worth the cost.

Surprisingly enough, the kids meal had the best food by far and the fried flounder was amazing. However, the broccoli serves with it was saturated in cayenne and didn’t realize until after my child had a few bites. I tried it and it definitely wasn’t child friendly. Overall very odd choice or mistake to have that level of spice on steamed broccoli .The staff offered to fix it promptly though.

I’m willing to give this a second shot with different menu items but this was a very bad first impression. The staff was super friendly and that’s always a welcoming experience, but the quality of food really didn’t offset the price .

Great food! The steamed crabs were a nice change from what I’m used to with boiled crabs. The mini crab cakes and sautéed crab legs were wonderful. Prices were good for the quality of food.

Trash . Please don’t eat here. Place was greasy. Food was not worth eating. To bad I got it on the way through and was to far away by the time we opened the containers. That’s 80 bucks down the drain

Amazing service! Delicious food! I stopped in today for a late lunch. The gentlemen behind the counter was so helpful and answered any questions I had and was attentive throughout my meal! He even brought me a sampling of roasted potatoes to try…and they were the best I’ve ever eaten. The crab roll was delicious! Crab balls and onion rings were perfect as well! I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes! This restaurant is clean and inviting, with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Mr. Theron was a wonderful host. We enjoyed the crab pretzel, the steamed shrimp, and fried softshell basket w sausage.
We also ordered 3 steamed blue crabs and a half pound of steamed shrimp!. Obviously we over ordered and will have another meal for two at home tomorrow.
For those who do not know, the blue crab is a great delicacy and found mainly out of Lake Pontchartrain and the La.Gulf. The blue crabs in the Chesapeake Bay are mostly exported from Louisiana. The steamed crabs were excellent and shrimp perfectly steamed, seasoned, and easy to take from the shell.
I am a hard critic on seafood and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Firstly, the seafood is LOCALLY bought!
We ate here tonight with our parents and the food was FANTASTIC! Three of us got the fried soft shell crabs. They were really big and THE best any of us have had! We also got the crab cake and it had so much crab it barely held together! The crab soup was good and the gumbo was excellent too! Even the salad dressings and sauces were incredible!
It isn’t cheap but worth the money to us. It came to $60 for two after tip.
The atmosphere was more like a deli than a dinner place but…. Ya gotta start somewhere! I prefer a dining experience BUT, we will DEFINITELY be back for more!

I decided to give this place a try and was wildly disappointed. Portion sizes are very small and the crab wasn’t fresh at all. Overall way too expensive for not just quality but quantity of food as well. The crab cake basket is literally just a single crab cake with a tiny salad. I paid extra for lump crab meat crab cake and it was 90% claw meat anyway. With so many amazing seafood options who also serve crab on the menu in the Northshore, I’m perplexed as to how this place is still open. I hate leaving bad reviews but what pushed me over the top was the rude chef. The only positive in this restaurant is the lady who runs the counter who was very friendly.
