Tasty fresh sushi. Got the tempura udon. Very tasty. Husband got the teriyaki salmon bento box. We were there for lunch.

Very pleased to have another great Japanese steakhouse in the area. A bit off the beaten path near the toll road, the restaurant is very nice inside and more open and cleaner than say Ron of Japan. Food was excellent and the sushi was wonderful and creative. Daily specials are great and the staff was very nice. Prices are a tad high, but quality was excellent and you don’t walk out feeling too full like you do at Ron’s.

I eat here at least twice a month, the quality of the sushi is amazing! the variety of rolls is great as well, customer service is great too I’ve had some pretty specific requests on sushi’s and other things, I’ve never heard a “NO”. I’ve had sushi all over Chicago and suburbs and this continues to be my go to spot.

First of all what a cool name! It’s a Hibachi Grill and a sushi restaurant and they specialize in spicy Sushi especially a great variety of dragon rolls. We had their stuffed mushroom appetizer that was delicious, a Dragon Roll , and the tempura udon soup. My friend had the Miso soup that they also found to be delicious. We did not get a chance to try the hibachi. Good service, nice environment, would love to go back.

Everything was delicious, timely and awesome atmosphere. A could have been a bit better we were basically the only customers just could of been a little more personalized not horrible by any means. Brian is who made my boyfriend come back and the type of food which I love made him bring me.

Super impressed at this restaurant. Hidden gem. Hidden in many way: Google Maps and GPS will take you all around it but not to it. Drive into the complex to find it. I was there for a work lunch and sushi/sashimi lunch boxes were really good. I was pleasantly surprised and most definitely will be back when I am in the area.

New Suhi Restaurant. Also does dinner shows at night, better than benihanas. I stumbled upon this place accidentally. A hidden restaurant. Quality of food was fresh and really good. The sushi chefs are super nice, and very accommodating. The owner or manager or the place is also very nice in helping suggest what exactly I want. The staff I give 5 stars as well as the delicious food. Lunch specials are such a deal! I really like the fact that they had brown rice to substitute – since I’m on a diet lol.
Overall Beautiful presentation on food and interior atmosphere, friendly staff, and YUMMY FRESH SUSHI.

I have dined at this restaurant twice before. I just went into this empty restaurant and decided to use the restroom first. I proceeded to walk to the restroom which was straight ahead when an older Asian lady runs from behind the counter yelling “where are you going?! You can’t use our restroom unless you are dining in!” I explained to her I was planning on dining in, however since it is a problem that I cannot use the restroom before I order my food, I will leave. She yelled we don’t have a public restroom and it’s for customers only. I am staying at a nearby hotel and this is my second time coming to this restaurant in one week. I am appalled at how I was treated. There were no other patrons dining in the restaurant and to be ambushed and challenged about using the restroom is absolutely ridiculous! I decided to leave and never return again. You have lost a customer and my business. Learn how to treat your customers with respect and maybe your restaurant wouldn’t be empty.

If you like teppanyaki and sushi this restaurant is for you! Think of Benihana or Japan/Domo 77 or Kampai but much better! The quality for the restaurants mentioned above has gone down in the past years, while Fish On Fire has their teppanyaki game on fire! This is my go to for my birthday, and husbands birthday, for the past 4 years. The flavors are fresh and vibrant. Whether you sit down at the grill or grab a table in the adjoining dining room you can get the same great meal and enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint is I never see any deals for here.
