I was searching for Korean BBQ restaurants one day (several months ago), and this restaurant popped up. I realized at the time that this wasn’t an actual Korean BBQ, but a restaurant I wanted to try nonetheless. I added it to my “must try” restaurant list at that moment and continued forward with my Google search for Korean BBQ since that is what my family was in the mood for at that time. Fast forward to 2 May 2025, opportunity knocked on my door and my wife and I opted for this restaurant because: (1) it was placed on my “must try” list; and (2) we were in the mood for some good Korean food (as depicted by their high reviews/ratings).
I was worried that we didn’t call to try and make reservations (I can’t validate if they accept them or not), and since it was right in the middle of the conventional ‘dinner window’ I figured we were doomed and had to wait 30-45 minutes before being seated. But alas, we walked in and the restaurant had a lot of tables open. Now this could mean several things depending on how you interpret it, but hey, all I cared was they had tables open upon arrival because I was starving. The restaurant employees were outstanding, from the moment we walked in, all the way until departure! The restaurant was clean and very spacious; they even had booth seating that had adequate partitions which enhanced privacy while dining. The restaurant’s décor was nice/modern, and didn’t seem like it was cluttering the walkways and walls – yes, sometimes I feel restaurants go a little overboard with their décor.
We ordered Fried Mandu (Dumpling), Sodduck (Spicy Rice Cake and Smoked Sausage), Galbi (Marinated Korean Short Ribs), Kimchi Jjigae, Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbop, and shared a Terra beer (I was hoping they had Cass beer). I’m going to say this up front…everything, I mean everything, was exceptional! I am sort of a Galbi snob and this place truly knows how to prepare their Galbi – yes, I make them at home and this restaurant’s Galbi is equal, if not better than mine! The Kimchi Jjigae was the highlight of conversations because I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced a better Jjigae than the one served at this restaurant…and I’ve had way too many to count in my life. The Sodduck and Mandu definitely hit the spot for our appetizers and I will add that my wife really enjoyed the rice cake (she’s not normally into those) – the texture was perfect!
The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable; not too expensive and not too cheap…you pay for quality food and service! I paid $110 for everything listed above (w/tax), but we ordered enough food for three people (sometimes I consider myself two people at restaurants whenever I’m starving). I wanted to try so many things on their menu during that visit but unfortunately, I could only stomach so much – which means, we will definitely be back for another visit! Based on this experience, I can legitimately validate their high ratings on Google (not sure what their ratings are on other platforms). This is one of the best Korean restaurants in the Las Vegas/Henderson/Summerlin areas that I’ve tried in my 11+ years of living here. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone…you will not be disappointed.
Request to the Restaurant Owner: Please incorporate Kimchi Pancakes as a menu item. I am confident that you will make them spectacular!
