Came to this place at around 1pm on a Thursday afternoon and it was closed.
Don’t know why
But their timings say they close at 2:30pm Monday-Friday

Don’t get fooled by the timings! Call them before you go!

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town. Eating organic is important to me. M Grille combines fresh, organic ingredients with a unique menu and lots of flavor. Lunch portions are perfect. If you go for dinner, there’s a strong possibility that you’ll have leftovers. Just wish they would’ve kept (or bring back) the coconut pudding on the menu…

While understandable that they’ll be slow when they have a large party, the service to handle such frequent events for a popular establishment leaves a lot to be desired. Appetizers should also come first to be enjoyed while waiting , but they weren’t even delivered with the main food an hour later. Oh, and please also deliver plates with the food when it comes out, so people aren’t waiting even longer.
Customers that have been waiting an hour will be understandably testy, having wait staff that adds fuel to the fire with snarky comments only incredibly detracts from the environment. Some of the wait staff even ignored us and multiple times people had to go to the servers for refills.
Multiple orders ended up being incorrect with one of the orders missing food after being corrected and they had waited an hour and a half.
This would be a two star review, but the desert was on the house and the staff acted more pleasant once things calmed down and apologized.

Excellent food and great service! They are still in the early phases and working out some kinks but it was delicious! Definitely give it a try either for dinner or their daily lunch buffet. Authentic Indian cuisine with all fresh ingredients made in-house!

We went to recently opened Indian restaurant last week. Food Quality was good and service was great. Friendly staff. Food taste was good.
only thing I should have given 5 star if the food was hot, our food was barely warm. I would definitely go back and recommend to others.

We went to M Grille for Restaurant Week and were so excited to try it as we go to M Vista all of the time. The restaurant was almost empty at 6:30 on a Saturday night (bad sign), but the hostess wanted to sit us at a two top right next to the door. I asked to be moved back a few tables and she had no problem with it. The server, on the other hand, rushed up to the hostess (a mere few feet away) and wanted to know why we were seated there. The hosted explained and the server rolled her eyes. After a few minutes our server asked for our drink order. I asked for water and the server said, “What does he want?” (My husband was in the restroom.) Unsure, I said I’d wait for him to return. My husband returned a few moments later and it seemed as though our server was too busy talking to her friends to come back for his drink order. She finally returned and I asked her about the Restaurant Week special menu (which was published online, BTW). Her response? “Umm… yeah. I’m not sure we’re doing that. Like, I think you get one of three appetizers, an entree, and we did have green tea cheesecake for dessert, but we don’t have it anymore.” So I asked what the dessert was going to be and she replied, “Just a really small brownie.” My husband and I looked at each other and decided this wasn’t going to work. “I think we’re going to go,” I told her. “Okay,” was all she had to say as she grabbed my water glass and walked away. It was SUCH a disappointing experience and I will NOT be going back. I’m not sure I’ve ever felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before in my life. There are too many other good restaurants in Columbia with better service.

Probably one of the nicest restaurants I can think of in downtown Columbia, especially for sushi. You can watch the chef’s prepare it so there’s no funny business and the appetizers are also delightful. The deserts seem a bit small portioned in my opinion but they are just as delicious. The mochi ice-cream however tasted like it was frozen and not made to order which was a bit disappointing.

The drinks there are great for anyone who enjoys trying alcohol from different parts of the world, even the korean beer surprised me.

The service is top notch. I never have to wait to order or to be seated, whenever I need something the waiters are right there for me to signal over. It’s the one place I have never had to wait more than 25 minutes to get a dish. I would recommend this to anyone.

The restaurant doesn’t officially open until Nov. 19th, but we were fortunate enough to get in for appetizers and cocktails. We were able to sample 4 different items including lamb samoza, garlic pepper chicken, gobi (cauliflower) and tandoori scallops. All the dishes were superb and unlike any Indian restaurant we had ever experienced. The fresh curry leaves were a succulent touch to several items. Everything was so flavorful! We eagerly look forward to their opening next week, especially the lunch buffet which will give us a chance to sample many items.

We went to bayleaf restaurant on their opening night for a date night with friends. While there were some things that they were still working out because it was opening night, the food was delicious and service was amazing. They really went above and beyond to help our experience be what we wanted it to be.
We started off with some bubbly and paired that with different filled samosas and Manchurian cauliflower appetizer. I got the fish vindaloo my husband got the goat Curry and our friends ordered lamb chops and chicken tikka. Everything was delicious andawe can’t wait to go back!
