We went on Saturday around 4:15 PM with a party of eight, and unfortunately our experience was nothing like the positive reviews we’ve since seen.
When we arrived, the front counter staff was distracted on her phone and took an uncomfortably long time to acknowledge us. We were told to seat ourselves before ordering, which was fine, but things went downhill quickly once we got to the food line.
The buffet line was in very poor condition. Much of it was half empty, looked like it hadn’t been refreshed in quite some time, and overall appeared unappetizing. There was no chicken available, and when it was finally brought out, it was pulled from a large container and left sitting behind the line instead of being properly stocked.
Many of the condiments and toppings were depleted or looked unsanitary, and the sauce station was the worst part — several main sauces were nearly empty, requiring customers to remove the metal containers just to scrape enough sauce onto a spoon.
The food itself was bland and tasteless, nothing close to comparable Mongolian grill competitors. On top of that, the restaurant felt dirty overall, and the bathrooms were filthy, which really sealed the experience for us.
I understand staffing is challenging right now, but this level of neglect makes it feel like the restaurant shouldn’t have been open at that time. Maybe this was an off day, but based on our experience, it’s not somewhere we’re eager to return to.
Disappointing experience all around.
REPLY TO THE OWNER: Thank you for your response. As I mentioned we were there at 415pm. The big booth next to the register. 7 adults and one 9 year old.

Went to grab lunch here and it was a great choice. Fast and friendly service. If you’re unfamiliar with Mongolian BBQ, you fill your own bowl with fresh meat(frozen thin slices pieces), veggies, noodles and sauce, then you take it to the cook with stir fries everything on a huge flat top surface. Everything looked super fresh, loved the selections of veggies and meat, loved that there were gluten free noodle options as well as gluten free sauce options. Meals include drinks, rice, soup and soft serve ice cream.

First time eating in this place. Food is delicious, fresh and tasty.
Service is good. Price is so affordable $18 for a small bowl, but it’s enough, you get drink, soup and rice.

I believe that all restaurants are represented by the host and in this case, she was very unfriendly. The hostess DID NOT want to be there. She was very indifferent and looked like she was judging my wife for some reason. Overall, she did not want to work at all. You have your AYCE(all you can eat) option, small and large, but they charge you for to go boxes. We got our bowls to put our ingredients in. The quality of ingredients were good, basic options and lots of sauce choices. They give you suggestions and how to make known flavors as well. Our chef was quick and very nice(opposite of our hostess)! Our food and drink were overall good. I don’t think this place stands out in any way, but if you’re looking for a Mongolian grill, this will do.

I had the large bowl. The portions were ample, and the food was tasty. Would definitely return.

Absolutely love this place! The veggies are always fresh, the sauce choices are phenomenal and the noodles are perfect. They have such great soups and rices to add to your meal at no extra charge, as well!
I usually go for the take away option and they provide you with everything you need right at the front counter.
The store is always clean, well stocked and very fairly priced. Definitely stop by next time you’re at the Scottsdale Pavilions center. The delicious smell from outside is enough to pull most people in.

Its a favorite of ours for the consistency. It’s a comfort food to us. Food is always yummy since you choose everything. Good selections of meat and noodle choices. Great sauce combos to choose from to create. Its usually a quiet place and service is good and basic because that’s how this place rolls. No nonsense just choice the size. The fixings and it’s cooked on the flat top. Eat and done. Would be a good date place. No distractions. In the summer there is sometimes a car show in the parking lot.

Happened to get to Roadhouse Cinema very early and, as we were hungry, we decided to try this restaurant. What a delightful experience. The food was wonderful, the assistance we received was very helpful and staff was cheerful. Just the right blend of do-it-yourself in picking out the vegetables, rice, noodles, etc., each of us wanted in our bowl and in mixing our own sauce in which it was cooked. They gave us prompt service and didn’t rush us at all. Be assured this won’t be the last time we go here. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Build your own, to be grilled for you. Meat options: frozen beef, chicken, pork shavings; shrimp is extra $ and limited hours. Don’t go too crazy, tempting though it may be. The sauces are last, but it helps to know them so you can build for you belly and tongue. Hard to notice, but there are pild and vinegars up top.
Now the fun part. Watch the grill master take your combo to the next level. Hot and softened.
There are also 2 soups and soft serve ice cream for customers.

Boy ol boy what a cool concept. Came in and was told fill your bowl up as much as you can so I was kinda worried about it since I’ve never been before. But man this place fills you up. You can pick your really thin sliced meats, veggies, noodles and marinade. You get 3 types of rice that’s include with the meal and a bowl of super and drink for $20 I got the large bowl there is 3 types. Beware if you don’t finish its a .50 charge per Togo box but you get enough food to feed two people but you can’t share. You only need 1 box so I didn’t care. Love this place
