I tried the Bahama Mama Bowl from Tropical Smoothie, and it was really good! The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors blended perfectly. It was a great, healthy option that left me feeling satisfied. However, for the price, I do wish the portion size was a bit larger. That being said, the service was excellent—Hailey was super friendly and made the experience even better! Overall, it’s was good, with great customer service!!

I got home with my smoothies and quesadillas and my smoothie was made wrong, and my quesadillas were barely eatable and had little to nothing in them, it was late and they were closed by the time I got home so I tried calling the next day (today ) September 7th and asked for a manager and the girl kept told me there wasn’t a manager and I asked when would one be there and she wouldn’t tell me then hung up the phone.

Can’t review the food at this location, because the two girls working didn’t give us the chance! Walked in at 8:30pm, they do close at 9pm, so still 30 minutes left. There were only 2 of us, and we were planning to order to go smoothies. They did not greet us, nor say anything as we stood at the counter (no-one else was in the place) for 5 full minutes until I said, “are you open?” One girl, without turning around, said, “yes, I’ll be with you in just a minute.” It looked like they were cleaning blenders and things. We stood there a couple more minutes and then left. Whoever is the manager at this location, might want to pop in now and again to check out how customers are being treated.

Never have I ever had an experience like this ever at any Tropical Smoothie establishment. The buffoonery that took place this morning at the Richmond road location. The staff on theTexas Blvd location would never treated anyone like this. Whether you’re new, old, rich, poor, or other. My husband and I asked the staff if they could kindly clean out the blender container that they blend the smoothies with or use an alternate container. Unfortunately, the request didn’t go that well. Along with the counter space they use to store the containers , it too remained filthy . . . (see attached photos). The young lady decided that we were asking too much. She then turned her back and started walking to the back of the store. Shortly after, another associate came from the back of the store with the “SAME EXACT “container, still unwashed and proceeded to make our smoothie. I’m thinking to myself, this is not happening! I abruptly asked her to stop and look at the container and told her that it had not been cleaned thoroughly from the last several smoothies. After several minutes of inadequacy, we finally decided to request a refund. Even that became a hassle. The attendant ask me for my receipt which was discarded in the trash can nearby. I kindly told him it was in the trash can. The attendant said, I need a receipt for me to refund your money. My response was very simple. You want me to put my hand in the trash can and give you this filthy receipt for you to handle without any gloves on. I think not! I then asked the individual to go back in to the computer to retrieve the receipt which seemed completely logical to me. Finally, the ordeal was over. All this commotion just for asking this food establishment to be clean and sanitized. We are still inside of a pandemic!

I have been kind and patient and have tried several times to give this Tropical Smoothie a chance but each time I go in, it’s always something from not having the ingredients for my order after I payed, forgetting my order entirely while I sit waiting for an hour, to chicken in my peanut butter crunch wrap. The kids that work in there have no customer service etiquette and come off as rude. They clearly don’t want to be there and it shows in the atmosphere and service. I’ve never had such poor experiences from any “fast food” restaurant before. So much so, I’m leaving this review in hopes the owner or corporate sees because I know I can’t be the only one having these experiences.

I stopped here first before going to the other disaster of a TSC a little farther down the highway. When I first walked in I was not even acknowledged. Then when the guy did ask me what I wanted it was as if I was disturbing him or that he was just disinterested in attending to me. When he ask me what I wanted, they didn’t have the spinach or kale to make it. He swiftly just walks away and went back to doing something else. So then after rinsing off a couple of blender cups he then says you know what you want now. I knew what I wanted from the start being that I frequent TSC I have more than one smoothie that I get. I didn’t go any farther I just left.
