Food was good. We tried the Spam menu after leaving the Spam museum. Service was good. The tv volume is a tad loud, but it was Sunday football. ♂️

B&J Bar & Grill is one of my favorite spots in Austin. The food is consistently delicious, and they offer a great variety whether you’re stopping in for a bite or making a night of it. Their outdoor seating area is especially nice spacious, comfortable, and perfect on a warm evening. They even host live music sometimes, which gives the whole place a fun, lively atmosphere.
The bar selection is solid, the drinks are well made, and the staff is always friendly, attentive, and easygoing. Inside, they have both booths and tables, so you can pick whatever feels most comfortable. Their location downtown is incredibly convenient, and the vibe is just welcoming overall.
One of the things I love most is how easy it is to bike here. The bike trails run close by with beautiful scenic views all around Austin, and there are places to lock up or park your bike near the patio area. It makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Great food, great drinks, fantastic atmosphere, and wonderful service. Absolutely a local gem.

Great location behind the Spam Museum in Austin, Minnesota.
Service was good, though not exceptional. Prices were reasonable and pretty average for the area. My wife enjoyed her meal and the turkey looked really good. My burger was fine but a little dry, and I was disappointed the seasoned waffle fries tasted stale (maybe just an older batch). The two large pretzels they offered were a solid deal.
Overall, not a place I’d seek out again, but I wouldn’t avoid it either. An average spot with a convenient location.

We were in town visiting and picked this for our lunch based on the reviews and menu. It seems to be the place to go for locals, it was pretty full even at 2:30pm. The food is what you would expect for a brewpub type environment, lots of bar favorites like fried pickles and cheese curds. They have some dishes with spam too. We had the spam pineapple sliders which were very good. I had the BLT with tater tots which was also good and quite large, not too greasy. They have probably a dozen beers on tap, too. We did wait a while to get served and sat for about ten minutes without menus hence losing a star for that. The parking lot is a little small as well. Would I go here again? Hmmm there isn’t a lot in town but I would probably try something else for lunch unless I wanted the bar food offering.

This is such a cute place! Great bar to watch the game at or to get some SPAM after a stint at the museum!

Average bar food on the Sunday night we came. Restrooms very clean. Cheese curds very delicious, especially with ranch sauce. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, get the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. It was the saddest looking meal I have seen in months. Philly cheese steak was small for the price i paid.

Nice vibe with friendly service. We tried the Blackened Shrimp Tacos and sweet potato fries, both were tasty. The sweet potato were nice and crisp and the Cilantro lime sauce on the tacos really brought it together. Also tried a bloody mary– great flavor!! They do a beer back as well.

Spam is really salty, so I had to get a Raspberry Ice Tea to balance out the taste. Vegetable helped with flavour. Their restaurant chips texture tastes like Asian Banana Chips fried fresh from the pan. It was not salty, and tastes so good.
