It goes without saying that the food is always terrible at Waffle House. We know and accept this. It’s a place to come in and fill the void of hunger when you’re on the road or looking for a place to sweat out your alcohol poisoning while you sober up over coffee.
The restaurant was over capacity this morning and I had to pay an extra twenty percent for to go supplies and a self administered tip. I would’ve willfully paid twenty to thirty percent tip had I not seen this sign prior. I’m not harping on the tip though, I get it, but it should be included in the retail price of the food being sold and not unfairly to people who don’t have time to sit and wait to be seated at a greasy table.
This additional cost is an unfair business practice because the people dining in this very limited capacity restaurant are costing the business money in overhead, cleaning supplies, dish replacement as they break, general overhead, free refills, bathroom usage, etc.
Put the extra costs in the final price of the food, on the menu.

We arrived and The bar was stacked up with plates. Two tables needed cleaning but was torally ignored. We sat patiently but place was so unorganized. When we got up snd left 15 minutes later, to nothing cleaned. Plenty of workers there. We got up and said after 15 minutes we still do not have a place to eat. Better get management there because normally good.

I love a good Waffle House! This one was by far the greatest I’ve ever been to in Mississippi. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with big smiles and a hey welcome to Waffle House. They genuinely seemed to enjoy their job which is very rare at a lot of places.. our waitress was the sweetest! She constantly checked on us to make sure we were still good. The cook did an amazing job on our breakfast as well. We felt right at home.

Everything excellent when we was there, other than when there was teenagers in there and making way way to much noise and drunks making to much noise when we was there. Idk if it is the same but if y’all alright with noise, drama, and chaos from drunks, drugs, and teenagers than be my guess going there.

I have been here several times, and each time is just as nice as the last. I can never say enough good things about this location. All the ladies are very nice and attentive. They always clean everything after each patron and are very speedy. The place is well lit and inviting. The food is always delicious. I’ve not had an experience at this one that has been a bad one. I would recommend stopping by! Ask for Ms Emily. She was amazing!

Nervous going to eat at restaurants bc of COVID. Food was ok. Hashbrowns not done. Never saw any of the waitress clean their hands after handling different items or t1ake stuff from one table to another. Our waitresses was adjusting her pants then proceeded to make our drinks & waffles. Never offered refills or asked if we needed anything but a different waitress did & thats who got out tip!!! They do have the guest spread apart. Everyone did have a mask on while in the cooking area. I wouldn’t visit again.

It was late and the staff appeared tired and board. Sweeping and then dusting your hands on your apron does not substitute soap and water for sanitary purposes.

It’s a waffle house. It’s a big standard. But the staff here are excellent and they do a great job keeping the joint clean and friendly.
