I took my family here for lunch to celebrate my daughter winning volleyball season. It was a beautiful afternoon until a received my bill and noticed a mark up on the items I ordered. When I confronted the establishment about the price change from the menu to the bill they said they just changed their menu prices. However , their menu did not reflect the new prices. This business did not honor their POSTED MENU PRICES. The manager on duty said they changed their prices and the new menus were not in yet. It is WRONG to charge anything different than what the menu states. I did not get compensated for the up charge my bill reflected. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday afternoon, and now I know why. This is not a successful business practice

The hostess was gnarly (unkind) but everything else went fine. I’m a foodie & I visit several restaurants per week as I travel the country doing my self employed work.
As someone who eats out a lot, these young ladies who host could do well to learn a lot about customer relations. The place is fine, the food is very good & the prices are okay. My server, Cate was a doll! She waited perfectly & if it were based on her alone, this place would get a 5* review! Thanks foe serving me well, Cate! You’ll do wonderful in life!

Hey fellow Google Maps users! ☺️ I went to the Beggars Pizza Whiting location on Sunday, April 28, 2024, to get some early dinner with my boyfriend and his younger brother.
⏰ Wait Time & Service: The day & time we went, there was no wait. We were immediately able to get seated no problem. Our server was Elena. She was very sweet & attentive. She got us refills without us even asking. She went above & beyond for customer service. She needs a raise stat.
Food: The food tasted so good! We ended up ordering 1 order of mozzarella sticks, 1 order of cheesy potato munchers (I highly recommend this if you like tater tots with cheese, reminds me of the cheesy tots from Burger King), 1 large sausage + pepperoni thin crust pizza, & 1 sausage + cheese deep dish pizza.
️ Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience with my visit at this location. I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area or craving pizza from Beggars Pizza. I had a great experience up until the end. My boyfriend, his younger brother, & I were exiting out the place and we said thank you to the people in the front. The 2 young women in the front that day didn’t say anything to us, which I thought was a bit rude (in my opinion at least). Aside from that, great service & delicious food.
️ Bonus: They had a cute, nostalgic arcade at the back of the restaurant. I love arcades in general, so it was nice visit the arcade after we finished eating. I’m not sure if all Beggars Pizza locations have an arcade, but definitely a great addition to the restaurant especially for families.

We ordered a large pizza and they obviously gave us a medium, as we have ordered from beggars many times before and know what their large pizza looks like. The server told us they cut it wrong, she put it on a bigger tray and gave it back to us, said the crust was thicker then usual, brought out the round cardboard paper to compare it to and gave us every excuse she could think of. Some slices even had no cheese on them. When we advised we were unhappy with this service and they refused to charge us for the medium pizza they gave us and charged us for the large. She also served me a regular coke instead of diet like I asked. All the server did was sit at the bar and complain about how she didnt want to be there and is ready to leave. Service was horrible. Food was not correct. And management did nothing to satisfy their customers. I will NEVER go back and I will advise my family and friends not to go either. If I could give 0 stars I would.

We visited the restaurant last summer, and we were unhappy with the amount of cheese on the pizza. We ordered takeout tonight and three pieces did not even have cheese and there was barely any sausage. This location does not “lay it on thick”.

What happened to this pizza? It used to be one of the better pizzas in the area. The past few times I’ve been there the pizza is extremely dry. Almost like they don’t put any sauce on it. They also claim to lay ot on thick. There’s only half the amount of sausage as there used to be. I’ll maybe give it one more try. If it doesn’t change I’m done with this place.
