Each table is provided water, bread, and olive oil for dipping. The entree I chose is a Baked Moussaka, and my friend the Chicken Souvlaki Platter. Both meals were prepared and served in a timely manner. The food was fresh with quality ingredients. The Moussaka had a mixture of potato with the sirloin which made an interesting spin on a traditional lasagna dish. The chicken on the platter was juicy and tender.
The meal was in the mid-twenties in price which seems typical for this type of restaurant. The portions being a little smaller than I’d like for the price, but not disappointing. I believe this is an ideal place for a lunch or dinner date, especially if you are looking for authentic Greek cuisine.
As it was a blustery night every time, the front door downstairs opened the cold air pushed upward and made I very chilly.
Service was attentive and lovely. The food was plenty and tasty. The gyros meat was dry (as another customer mention in a review). Overall a nice experience.
The food, however, was a bit underwhelming. The gyro meat was dry and the appetizer platter, while edible, lacked flavor and felt like a grocery store salad bar. If you’re looking for a simple, very basic dining experience for mild palettes, this place might be a good option. I would be willing to try some of the other menu options but do not plan on returning soon.
We had halloumi for appetizer. It’s a perfect balance of protein and veggies, very refreshing.
I like my chicken veryyyyyy dry so the chicken souvlaki was perfect for me. The rest of the meal was great, too.
