Went here for our 12/31 anniversary. Had the best Grouper Rockefeller ever! Coldest day of the year at outside table. Not too bad with the heaters. Servers were freezing and still provided great service. Food was nice and hot. Ice in our cocktails never melted. Will definitely go back!!!

Wow. It is a winner! Amazing food and service from Nev ! Great views too, but let’s get back to the food…stone crab, seafood Diavalo, Hogfish, grouper Oscar! We also liked the cheesy crab dip! Great wine and beers and drinks as well. Just a winner all around!

Last evening my wife and I along with another couple went to Deep Lagoon for dinner and to enjoy the Marco Island Boat Parade. Reservations were made 3 weeks in advance. A table near the front had been requested. We arrived 10 minutes early for our 5:45pm reservation. We were shown to very last table at the back of the outdoor seating, between Deep Lagoon and CJ’s.
The table had not been cleared from its previous use, half empty glasses, water rings on the table, no new place settings. We refused the table and were told we would need to wait for the next available table. I watched two 4 top tables given to two separate couples before we were seated after 20 minutes. We ordered grouper fingers to start, which took about 15 minutes to be served(pic attached). This was the most unappetizing plate I’ve been served in quite a long time. The accompanying tartare sauce, which was on the menu, had to be requested after the plate arrived without tartare sauce. We ordered our meals and then waited slightly over 1hr before I became assertive and told the server if we can’t have our meals in two minutes we wanted our check for the one round of drinks and we were leaving. The server went inside and returned with a more senior staff member. This person apologized, said that the kitchen was very backed up, the manager was in the kitchen cooking and our meals would be out in 10-15 minutes. I told her that was unacceptable and we wanted our check for our drinks, we were leaving. With that, a waiter appeared with a tray with all 4 of our meals. The sauce on my fish, which wasn’t even warm, was congealed. Clearly it had been sitting waiting to be served.
If a restaurant the size of Deep Lagoon is going to make reservations on the night of a big event in front of their restaurant, they should be staffed to accommodate the volume or limit their reservations. Don’t make patrons wait over and hour to be served mediocre food and tell them other people are waiting over an hour too. If you make people wait an unreasonable amount of time, have the wait staff check in with them periodically and maybe offer them a round of drinks. The goodwill would go a long way. Our waitress checked on us once, by refreshing my Diet Coke only. My wife and I had been to Deep Lagoon twice previously, once to try it, the second time was to give it a second chance. Tonight sealed the deal, we will never return to or recommend this restaurant. There are too many excellent restaurants in Naples/Marco Island, this one is not on our list.
I should give credit to the manager who did comp our meals.

Recently dined here and I have found my favorite restaurant in Marco Island. We found free parking nearby and walked over. We asked to be seated outside and we were taken to our table fairly quickly. Our table had a great view and we were able to catch a few nice breezes during our time here.
The menu had everything we were looking for seafood wise. We ordered hush puppies, fresh oysters, clam strips, crab legs, and fried shrimp. I liked that all the entrees came with 2 sides. The broccoli here is delicious. I also enjoyed the yellow rice. Everyone at our table had only positive things to say about our meals. We ended up ordering a 7 layer chocolate cake to share and wow! It was huge.
The only con during our afternoon service was the wait time. We felt like we were waiting constantly for our server to show up. She also didn’t seem very friendly.

It is a VERY busy place, so it’s obviously popular. It is pricey, in my opinion, as we each had 1 glass of wine and 1 entree and spent more than $150 for 3 people; I paid $40 for the sea scallops entree, which had about 6 scallops that were nicely cooked, some tasty rice, and some Brussel sprouts with 2 sauces on them. It was fine but not outstanding enough to warrant the price, in my opinion. We had to wait for our table to be ready for our reservation, so we kind of stood around the host station with the other waiting parties, all of us pretty much right in the way of everyone and right by the open kitchen where someone was endlessly shouting for food runners to come pick up food for diners. The wines by the glass list is nice, with a moderately ($10-$15) priced option and an expensive ($25ish) option for most every choice. Service was fine, but it felt like our server was too busy; maybe they were short-staffed. On our way out to the parking garage to search for where we parked our car, we walked by what looked like a bar area, and I thought to myself that I would have rather eaten there; it seemed quieter and less chaotic than the dining room or outdoor seating.
I suggest taking advantage of what I think is free valet parking (please tip!) instead of trying to find your own parking.

Our son took us for Father’s Day as we previously visited the Fort Myers location. It’s 2 hours away but why not go somewhere new! The food was delicious as expected and they had the Summer menu available too. We had the chili calamari, Grouper, Tripletail, and Swordfish. I remembered that the carrot cake was enough for 4 so we had the key lime this time. The view was spectacular and he loved it. We will definitely be back and my customers are already looking to take the drive after they close on their home.

Everything was excellent. Can’t say anything bad about our dining experience. From the hostess who greeted us and set us up with the perfect outdoor table to our lovely server, William. The entire staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The location is excellent… right on the marina with shops. The restaurant, whether sitting inside or out, has a beautiful ambiance and appeal. The food menu was vast, and prices were affordable and not over the top. Happy Hour drinks and small bite menu is great, too. Something for everyone price wise and taste wise. Our entire party got something different to eat and drink, and each of us was extremely pleased. We will be back every trip to Marco going forward. Thank you for a lovely evening.

I have to say Aaron has been THE BEST bartender ever in my entire dining experience. His personality shined through. He took care of every guest with a smile and amazing energy. It is clear he is happy doing what he does. He recommended my guest and I try the crab rangoon or the calamari, So we tried the crab rangoon and it was awesome. He came by our table to check on us and to see if we liked it. I have never had a bartender follow up with me after leaving the bar. He also told us about a promo that was being offered where we could get $30 off a bottle of wine. Aaron was phenomenal. Terin the manager and Nev our server were great as well. Definitely going back

I had to come back and add to my review – I previously left a 5 star rating and wanted to add my comments. Our family ate here not once but TWICE during our week trip to Marco Island. Not only are we seafood lovers, but the restaurant is beautifully positioned alongside the marina, with an upscale feel inside the restaurant and a comfortable family-friendly feel throughout the patio and outdoor seating. We had our 2 year old with and the wait staff was so accommodating to him – offering to bring out his meal first to keep him satisfied and someone even came around with a treasure chest filled with toys for him to pick one. This was the highlight of his night! He carried around that little toy for days! It’s the little things that go a long way. Another thing we loved in addition to the incredible seafood dishes, were the delicious cocktails and mocktails! Everything we ate/drank we could tell was made in a scratch kitchen with FRESH ingredients! Thank you for not one but 2 memorable evenings!
