Found this place with my two sons-in-laws. I was not disappointed. They have real Mexican food, not tex-mex or something. It was so good! The Al Pastor was tender and tasty, the chorizo had good flavor and spice. This is a quiet diamond that you need to try!

Mr. Rivera’s Taqueria is FANTASTIC, DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC! This is the second time I went in 2 weeks just to make sure it was as delicious as the first time and it WAS! So far I have tried a variety of tacos (chicken, shrimp, steak), queso, a chicken torta, agua frescas and the BEST rice I have had at a taqueria/restaurant in St. Louis! I dream of one day getting the recipe for the rice and impressing my family with my super rice skills! Everything I ate has been wonderful and the people who work here are very kind and friendly. I can admit now that Mr. Rivera’s has spoiled me for any other taqueria and is now my number one FAVORITE!

The first time visiting here, we were very impressed! The food was excellent, everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and our order was ready exactly when they said it would be. The entire order was completely accurate and hot. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you to your entire staff for a great meal, and a great experience!

We saw this place pop up about a month ago and decided to give it a go. Its a very basic atmosphere and oddly, all the cooking takes place in the food truck parked in the front. That said, our server was fantastically friendly and helpful. The chips and salsa were tasty. The main courses were also good. Oddly, there were no forks or knives which for some of the dishes would have been mighty handy. They don’t have fountain drinks or any diet soda. But you can choose from a variety of bottled sodas. I plan to come back by to try some other items.
