Hidden down a quiet alley with a serene atmosphere, we arrived expecting a pleasant dinner but left thoroughly impressed by the warm, professional hospitality and truly amazed by the food.

There’s no flashy marketing or grand claims here — they let each dish speak for itself. If you’re a food lover, especially with a passion for French gastronomy, this spot is a must-visit.

Thank you to the chef and the entire team for such a wonderful dinner. We’ll definitely be back.

The excitement of finding a hidden gem is all but lost thanks in large part to the sharing on social media feeds.

I stumbled upon this place by accident mainly because I was thirsty for a cold coffee during a humid afternoon.

One good Americano coffee led to a conversation with the owner in that led to a couple of croissants and more coffee.

I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that this place was in fact a full service restaurant. My curiosity peaked ,I walked in for a late lunch some days later. I was not disappointed.

The flavor and texture we’re all on point; subtle but not to the point of blandness. The texture and mouthfeel excited the senses. Delicious.

I came back a few more times for lunch and then finally dinner. Dinner was spectacular. A kind chef/owner gave us a taste of their wagyu beef that they were able to procure from a small family farm in Kagoshima Japan. It was luxurious to say the least.

If you’re curious drop on in. The owners staff are very friendly and at this price point, The value is hard to beat elsewhere.

Thank you to both brothers and sisters for taking care of this solo diner at times.

We tried both the new à la carte and tasting menus, and overall it was a great experience with French-inspired cuisine. I would have appreciated it even more if the flavors had a bit more depth. Service is average, maybe bcs it’s bistronomy.

La Maison des Rêves – A Moment of Stillness in the Heart of Saigon

In an increasingly chaotic and unpredictable world, finding a place that offers calm and serenity has become a true luxury. La Maison des Rêves is one of those rare sanctuaries. Hidden in a small alley of District 1, its exterior is modest – simple, elegant, and unpretentious. Yet the magic begins the moment you step inside.

Time seems to slow down as soon as you enter. The noise of the city fades away, replaced by a quiet sense of beauty and refinement. You find yourself transported into the delicate universe crafted by Chef Thao Na, where every detail is thoughtful, and every flavor tells a story.

At a time when so many restaurants prioritize Instagram aesthetics over taste, La Maison des Rêves does exactly the opposite … it celebrates authenticity, subtlety, and emotion. The menu unfolds with understated sophistication: a veal carpaccio as soft as a whisper, a half-cooked lobster seasoned to perfection, each dish harmonizing technique and heart.

This is not a place of extravagance; it is a place of balance. Every plate is designed to awaken your senses without ever overwhelming them. The experience is not only gastronomic – it is emotional, almost meditative.

No photo can truly capture what happens here. So, if you ever crave a moment of escape and pure delight, let yourself be carried away to La Maison des Rêves. You will leave refreshed, inspired… and just a little bit dreamier.

Absolutely wonderful hidden gem, chanced upon this restaurant before opening but owner kindly offered me to get one of the best coffees I ever had from here. Had a quick chat with him as well while waiting for my girlfriend to be done doing her nails, he was very gracious and friendly. Would definitely come back to try their lunch menu, if I have the chance to. The place is absolutely gorgeous.

We went there for dinner, and it was so delicious! We already know about the quality from their previous restaurant (Atelier des rêves), so we knew we won’t be disappointed.

We took 2 menus, and every meal was so yummy! The mix of flavours was exquisite!
Besides the Chef and staff were very thoughtful!

200% recommended!

Um, I would say I had a nice time at this cozy dinner spot, but I must admit I was hoping for a bit more since the chefs have such a great reputation. While the experience was pleasant, the food didn’t quite live up to my expectations, and I found the combinations of ingredients didn’t really stand out for me. The decoration of food and the way they serve as a bit of under expectation

Highly Recommended: A True Culinary Gem!
I had the pleasure of trying the tasting menu, and it was simply outstanding. The quality is exceptional, featuring subtle and perfectly balanced flavors that make for a sophisticated dining experience.
The restaurant brilliantly executes a beautiful French-Asian fusion, making each course a delightful surprise.
Beyond the food, the setting is a major plus: it’s calm and very pleasant, creating a wonderful atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The overall experience offers excellent value for money, and the warmth and kindness of Thao and her team truly elevate the visit.
Bravo! I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

The restaurant is a hidden gem of Sai Gon. You won’t regret choosing this pretty restaurant. The chef also owner of the restaurant is very careful with the dishes with decorations and flavors. The flavor is perfectly balanced – not only on the plate, but across an entire meal. The dining experience is lifted above and beyond with the carefulness of service delivery of staffs and the owner.

My husband & I just had an exceptional lunch in Maison Des Reves. Everything from a·muse-bouche, appetiser, main & desserts were bursting with different flavours & textures. The great service from the brother of the chef, and Chef Thao Na who came out to say hello & gifted us with cookies & choux where the icing on the cake. Highly recommended if you are looking for fine modern French food in HCMC.
