Stopped by and tried the raspberry roll, it was really good, soft, fresh, and not overly sweet. The bakery itself has a nice, cozy vibe and everything looked freshly made. The staff was friendly and helpful when answering questions and helping me choose. Overall a great spot for baked goods, definitely coming back.

The food is always amazing, but this time the service was bad enough I had to write a review. I ordered chicken noodle soup and a sandwich, and as soon as the two girls working saw my order they couldn’t stop laughing. They were talking loud enough I could overhear everything- saying things like “I’d only feel bad if this was my order” and then even laughing as they handed the food to me. There was no laughing with the customers before, just a smile and “Have a nice day”. I’m not sure what was so funny about my order, but I probably won’t be coming back to this location since they tolerate that type of behavior.

I was impressed most of all for the breakfast sandwich costing only $2.99.
PRODUCTS/SERVICES – 5
I ordered a breakfast sandwich made of an onion bagel , sausage and swiss cheese .
POINTERS/PERKS – N/A
Perhaps there are some pointers or perks, but being as this was my first time, I’m not sure what they would be.

I stopped in recently and had a fantastic lunch—simple, classic, and done right. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich on sourdough, and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh, the ham was flavorful, and the cheese was just right. Paired it with their homemade chicken noodle soup, which was warm, hearty, tasty and made with quality ingredients.
The atmosphere was cozy, the service was friendly, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back!
One small suggestion: I’d love to see croissants offered as a bread option for sandwiches—that would be a game-changer! Also, if beer cheese soup with big soft pretzel sticks ever made its way onto the menu, I think it’d be a crowd favorite. Just something to think about!

Honestly I have never had a problem at Old Grist Mill before, but this time was horrible. The service was horrible and I had to wait over 50 minutes for my sandwich. The people working had no clue what they were doing and were completely disorganized! I will not be coming back here!

Love the food but it is always slow. And frequently wrong. This trip I ordered a quart of soup only wait 20 minutes for them to tell me it was gone.
It is far to slow here to stop for lunch if you only have a hour.
You need at least 30 minutes just to pick up soup for diner. Way to long.

Sooooo disappointed, ordered a grilled cheese and this is what they gave us. The man working the register was SO RUDE and when asked for a grilled cheese he told us they couldn’t do it (we’ve had grilled cheese multiple times here) He was also on his phone the entire time we talked to him. Such a bummer! Maybe a different employee should work the register ♀️
