So glad to have stopped by here. We kinda winged it for a random brunch spot. It was very busy and we should have probably joined the waitlist online so it was about a 40 min wait but IT WAS SO WORTH IT.

Staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Hot coffee. Warm, fresh food. Couldn’t have been more satisfied. The biscuit and gravy was my favorite. I can not stress enough how fantastic it was to have a crispy but also soft biscuit topped with a generous amount of yummy sausage gravy. Really dig the crispy hash cake as well.

All in all, great time. Next time I visit the area I would 1000% come back here. They got my Texas stamp of approval lol

We had a great first time experience at BBB this morning. Our server, Dani, was very friendly and kind to my son and I. The food was very delicious and came out fast. The inside has a small town café vibe and I would definitely come back on a weekend morning with my whole family. I would highly recommend the sausage gravy – it was delicious!

Big Bad Breakfast in Madison absolutely blew me away! The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The biscuit crumble was heavenly, perfectly buttery and soft, and the shrimp and grits were some of the best I’ve ever had — rich, creamy, and packed with flavor.

Their house blend coffee also deserves its own shoutout. Smooth, rich, and bold without any bitterness — easily one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had at any breakfast spot in Alabama.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and upbeat. You can tell they take real pride in the experience they deliver.

If you’re anywhere near Madison and craving a top-tier breakfast, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I thoroughly enjoyed the biscuit crumble. It tasted freshly made. The tomato gravy was a first for me and it was delicious. Very friendly servers with big smiles. My meal came quickly and the coffee was just right. There are at least 5 breakfast specialty restaurants nearby on this stretch of road in Madison, and I’ve been to them all. I’d return to this one again!

The food was good by and large. I had the steak breakfast. While most of the food was great my steak was very thin. It was well seasoned and tasty the chef honestly did the best he could do with such a thin piece of meat. They really shouldn’t ask how you want the steak cooked because it’s always going to be well done. Chef can’t help it. It does allow you to get another steak because the steak will always be overcooked. So go my fellow Kings and get you another thin steak.

Grits were good and the red eye gravy very flavorful.

I was able to meet my extended family here after Church on my way back to Atlanta.

The food was excellent and the service was friendly and accommodating.

All of the food here is made fresh, and that was evident. The biscuits were certainly hot out of the oven. We couldn’t decide on one of their homemade jam flavors, so the waitress brought us a “sampler”. Great customer service there.

The mains came quickly. Everything was delicious.

My only issue with this particular location is their lack of seating for waiting guests. I was in a party with 3 elderly women who were essentially standing in the kitchen because I wanted to make sure they were in the A/C. There is not one single chair for waiting guests. My grandmother leaned on her walker instead. This seems an obvious fix given the popularity of this spot. Standing room only it seems. “Atmosphere” gets only 2 stars here.

That being said we were in bright spirits and enjoyed the breakfast. We will absolutely be back.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary with a home cooked breakfast away from home. BBB carriers a satisfying assortment of morning eats. My wife went for the BLT while I took on a skillet dish with a side of spicy bacon. There’s also a coffee bar and they have fresh fruit jams for purchase.

The way this place popped up out of nowhere. And we saw the BBB sign and immediately started making big back jokes. But once we saw how many cars were in the parking lot, we knew this was the spot to stop. Never had shrimp and grits with a brown gravy. But the way it was worth it.Also, they give you a really good variety of jellies and jams.To choose from. My homegirl and I received excellent hometown service. Our waitress was a delight. And we had a good time

Went on Tuesday at 9:30 am. Was not busy and service was quick. Food was hot, fresh and delicious!!! My mom, who travels all over, said the grits were the best she’s ever had… anywhere!! My dad and I each got the biscuits and gravy. Sooooo good! Can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our visit! The staff was so friendly and efficient. We got on the waitlist and were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Hosts were great. The food is locally sourced, presented beautifully, and tasted delicious. We ordered Avocado toast, French toast, and a Smash Burger. Logan was our server and did an excellent job. Nice atmosphere. The general manager Matt came by to check on us. Everything was perfect!
