We started with Mimosas and French Onion soup both were wonderful. Then I chose the Fried Green Tomato Benne for brunch. It was absolutely delicious! My husband had the French Dip which he said was very good.
We shared chocolate cake with ice cream! All I can say is warm and gooey! Need I say more
The staff was so very friendly and made us feel welcome! We enjoyed looking at the local artist paintings as we ate our meal.

Before I get to the main displeasure of this restaurant, I’ll label what was good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and I enjoyed a lot of the art that was hanging on the walls.

Although some of it wasn’t the best, and some of the decorations were… questionable. Although, overall, I did enjoy a lot of it.

The service was alright, the waitress seemed a little displaced and annoyed. She was good at getting drinks to the table as well as refills. However, when we gave our checks, she disappeared at one point and we waited almost 20 minutes for her to return, causing us to be late for a meeting we had. There were no other customers in the building.

Now, to the worst part, the food. Flavor wise it was actually quite good. Everything definitely tastes fresh and homemade. But this is what sucks. The middle of my fries were cold. The ketchup tastes old. And my burger was raw. I did order medium rare yes, but it wasn’t medium rare, it was raw. I ate about half the burger without realizing.

I got back to my hotel and immediately vomited because the food didn’t sit right in my stomach.

I am very disappointed with Le Bistro. I’d give it another shot though, as some of the other dishes looked good and I truly and genuinely believe my food being raw was a mistake.

Beautiful restaurant with the look of past days. The service was superb. The decor included gorgeous artwork. We were accommodated to seating that was better for two people with hearing disabilities. Crab cakes were amazing. Presentation was eye catching. Then the complex taste, delicious. Raising the taste of crab to an new level. Good celebration of IPA’s and cocktails. Steaks cooked to perfection. Vegetables were wonderful. The music was very pleasing. Desserts are over the moon delicious. I don’t think you could select wrong. We will be back and will be singing your praises to anyone who will listen.

This is a great place in Huntington WV. I little upscale but awsome. Love Sunday brunch. $7 mimosa with 75 cent refills, Yummy. The food was delicious service was Impeccable.

Just had dinner last night here. I wasn’t that hungry at first but the food was so good i wanted to try desert. I had the pear salad and tomato bisque soup, with bread pudding for dessert, every thing was delicious. I eat at the bar the service once again was inpeccable. Eat up drink up have fun!!!!

Excellent meal and an even better server, Keith! He did such a stellar job making our Valentine’s Day dinner a great experience. The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had- the flavors for the food were complex and lovely. My husband has back problems and they completely accommodated us quickly and proficiently. Can’t wait to come back!

It is always nice to find restaurants that have daily chef specials. It gives the chef the ability to experiment and be creative. Tasting new dishes is great experience, but the downside to it is that if it is good, you may never get to order it again.

As you walk in, the ambience is nice. Good place to come to have a great meal without the loud music/noise to drown out your conversation. I happen to have forgotten my credit card and ended up having dinner there two days in a row.

It’s always a good start when the waitress brings out warm bread. I started off with Champagne pear salad. The first night I had the Butcher’s Choice, which was a filet, shrimp and scallop. The filet had a slightly hard crust and wasn’t as tender as expected but still enjoyable. The broccoli was way too salty and not edible. I finished the first night with a delicious chocolate chip bread pudding.

The second night I had the same scrumptious pear salad and the fresh catch entree. It was a wahoo with a ratatouille sauce over rice. I finished everything on the plate except the wahoo as it was over cooked and dry. I finished the night with a yummy cheese cake.

I am giving this review not as a criticism but as suggestions on where they can improve the restaurant. I want to see the Le Bistro succeed for many years to come as it is a gem for the community.

Next time I’m in town, I will surely visit again – Cheers

This is a beautiful little bistro with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Maybe we just didn’t order the right things, but I honestly wasn’t super impressed with the food and cocktails. Everything we ordered did not live up to gourmet pricing. The kids grilled cheese was $8 and the napkin was stuck to the sandwich with melted cheese on it, but it was cheesy. The salads were good. I’ve posted photos. Everything came to $74. I might give it another try sometime.

We stopped by for a breakfast for our family, and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere is delicately decorated which transforms you into a better space. My wife and I enjoyed the Nutella French Toast with a side of potato cakes. The bacon was some of the best we’ve had! If you are looking for a different change of pace, stop in and try something new.
