Craving seafood on a Sunday night, I found this little hole-in-the-wall near my house (I recently moved to the area). Since it was late and I hadn’t heard of it before, I wasn’t expecting much. They were about 20 minutes from closing, yet they were incredibly kind and still let us order — which we really appreciated.
We decided to go all out and try almost the entire menu. The woman who I believe is the owner gave us great recommendations, and we ordered four tacos gobernador, a mojara, ceviche de pescado, a surf and turf burrito, and a cóctel de camarón.
Everything was amazing — especially the tacos gobernador. They were packed with so much flavor, and the rice they came with was sooo good. The cóctel de camarón had great flavor as well; we added extra salsa since we love spicy food, and that really took it to the next level.
I didn’t personally try the mojara since I’m not a big fan, but my mom absolutely loved it. The ceviche was good, though I think it could’ve used a little more time cooking in the lemon — still very tasty overall.
I would definitely recommend this spot and will for sure be coming back, especially to enjoy the ambience when dining in next time!

Very unassuming being a little place in the middle of a strip mall, but wow super impressed with the quality of food (taste and aesthetic). My husband and I did two tacos place, ceviche tostada, surf & turf burrito, and shared one huge horchata. If ever I’m in this area, I’ll make the trip back.

We were here in town and found this great authentic mexican mariscos restaurant. Service was very friendly and the food was made fresh and hot to order! The cucumber pepino drink was awesome and refreshing! I had the Molcajete (forgot the picture) super, super yummy, feeds 2 with left overs, the Mojarra was very plentiful and tasty as well, corn tortillas were fresh and homemade! The plaza is full of other restaurants so parking is limited but accessible. You will not be disappointed!

Very friendly place/staff with ok food. The beer battered fish tacos we had were nice but the rice was not fresh. The tortilla chips were also refried several times and looked so dark, almost brown instead of golden. The portions are huge ($18 for 2 big tacos). They have one table outside which worked well for us because we have a dog. They also have high chairs for toddlers.

Best ceviche/ aguachile in Ventura! Great shrimp tacos (prefer over fish). Very friendly as well. The spot is clean and their aguas are ALL delicious and fresh! Generous portions! I recommend this spot to everyone.

Ordered 2 fish tacos & shrimp tostada & a soda, $35 later. Just walked out mid-way through my meal.
