Thatcher’s was pretty awesome. My drip coffee was really, really good. The service was the BEST! Such nice people. The vibe in the building was really nice too. A big building, lots of seats, kind of an industrial feel with all the heating / vents up in the high ceilings. The outdoor seating area is massive! The biggest I’ve seen anywhere. A cool spot. But there are some caveats: it was really cold first thing in the morning, the music was too loud, and the coffee was a little expensive (almost $5), and I was charged $2 for a refill. I think black coffee should be more around $3, and there should be at least one free refill. Check out our video review of this place. Aldo LOVED it because his Cortado was perfect, they remembered to ask him for his name, and they had stoppers. Anyway, our YT channel is “PNW Coffee Bros.” Check out the reviews.

Such a cute coffee shop with wonderful people that work there. The seating is great with good outdoor seating options, with a very cute and calm atmosphere. Calling out the delicious gluten free pastries as well, banana bread is wonderous, almond muffin was SO good and others are great as well. All around one of the best coffee shops in Vancouver and worth a trip over the bridge as well. Close to the beautiful walk along the river as well.

We stopped in for a coffee in November 2025. We ordered at the counter, one coffee and one cup of tea. The coffee was fine. I wanted honey for my tea and it was only available for the person behind the counter to add it, no honey for a customer to use, so challenging to get the small amount I prefer in the cup.
Nice atmosphere with comfortable seating, clean restrooms, bright and sunny when the sun is out. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting. We did not order food.
Despite being in a shopping center with a huge parking lot, parking was a challenge. It’s a popular shopping center.

Best coffee and pastries in Vancouver, hands down. They make all of their bakery items in house and everything is incredibly fresh with elevated, thoughtful flavors. The coffee quality is top tier as well. They serve Pastime Coffee, known for exceptional beans and some truly standout Ethiopian varieties.
There is a reason there is always a line on the weekends. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full PNW vibes. Just wish there was a location on the east side. Hint hint.

I used the bathroom in this coffee shop while visiting the Vancouver area. I was originally going to use the Cecilia bathrooms as I had read a review praising the cleanliness of said bathroom. Upon reaching Cecilia however, it seemed like there would be quite a long wait. This particular bathroom endeavor felt rather urgent and wasn’t one I was willing to wait in line for. So I opted to use this coffee shops bathrooms instead. Okay, now that you have the proper context I can move on to the bathroom experience itself. Let’s start with the positives. It appeared to be sanitary enough, there was relaxing music playing in the background and I didn’t notice any glaring issues such as a foul odor or puddles of water that are sometimes present in poorly maintained restrooms. That being said, the lighting left something to be desired. It was quite dim in there. That coupled with the lack of any sort of visual identity severely limited the bathrooms sense of ambience or charm. It honestly felt like a bathroom you might find in a prison. Very cold and harsh, albeit functional and mostly inoffensive. Most visual elements present in this bathroom didn’t effect me much though as I was typing this review out for the entire duration of my bathroom experience. As I am sure most people will also be preoccupied with their phones to fully appreciate the ambience (or lack thereof) of this restroom I won’t dock too many points for this. All in all I would say that my trip to the restroom was fine. Not amazing but not too bad. Thats all you can really ask for out of a bathroom. 4/5 stars

Thatcher’s Coffee is such a great spot to work from—plenty of space, a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and the vibes are immaculate. It strikes that perfect balance between cozy and modern.
One of my favorite things about this place is how many gluten-free options they offer. It makes grabbing a snack or meal so much easier (and tastier!) without having to stress. Between the great coffee, the friendly staff, and the relaxing environment, this place has definitely become one of my go-to work cafés.

Cool spot…I wanted to like the coffee because the shop itself is really nice. However, my drip coffee went in the trash can. I don’t toss a cup of coffee unless it just isn’t drinkable. This cup wasn’t good. And at $4.50 for a cup of coffee, it’s just not going to happen again. Acidic roast. One of the worst I’ve had. My wife got a London Fog with a shot of espresso. She managed to drink hers….not happily, but she finished it. Again, cool spot, bad coffee.
