Our Story Jeff & Kathryn Remaley became the new owners of Tap House 1233 in January of 2016. They have continued the traditions of quality and friendliness, started by the previous owners, Larry Moore & Frank Ennis. Serving customers 21yrs+, our excellent staff works collaboratively as a team. They take great pride in their work. Working in the hospitality business is more of a vocation than an occupation. Our customers are extremely loyal and supportive, for which we are exceedingly GRATEFUL!

Everything was perfect — definitely deserves the highest rating!
Will be back again!
Stopped by on a Monday, received the best service I could expect from Karen(I did apologize on behalf of the internet for ruining her name).
She was awesome, not like a stereotypical Karen.
Then to my surprise the dinner special it was fresh chicken strips for a dollar a piece
I have been to the taphouse before, the food is great, their burgers are phenomenal, and they have prime rib and several options of seafood.
Not going to lie, what I like best, it is rare to find a place where you can smoke after you eat
Highly recommend if you want good food, full bar, pool table and darts, and GREAT service
About a month ago, I was told by the bartender/waitress — kindly but still with a very strong assumption, I might add — that the owners had instructed her not to serve us because they believed we “don’t tip.” She said she didn’t want to do that to us, which I appreciated. I was surprised, as I always tip, and after reviewing my bank statements, I confirmed I’ve tipped here every visit. It seemed to be a case of mistaken identity, but it still left us feeling uncomfortable I made sure at the end I highlighted my tip on the bill to ensure its shown and again i went back to my bank statement and check and it appeared on there as well.
Tipping is such an important part of supporting restaurant staff, and I hope this situation was just a one-off misunderstanding. Up until then, every visit had been wonderful, and I’d like to see the same spirit of hospitality continue for everyone who comes in.
