This is my favorite bagel shop! I usually go there once a week but needed a catering order for a 120 person work event. The ordering process was easy and they explained everything very well over the phone. I got bagels, donuts and coffee. My order was ready on time and the entire staff was helpful and everything was a massive hit 🙂

First timer… Avid Manhattan Bagel Customer.
Ordered an egg, bacon, chedder on everything bagel with coffee.
They put the sugar and cream in my coffee- I prefer to do that myself so that I can balance to my liking. Horrible.
Bagel was cold and hard. Egg yolk was undercooked almost gooey, cheese didn’t even melt. Needless to say, I wont be back. If a customer pays for a hot breakfast sandwhich, that is what I expect. Was not impressed. Back to Manhattan Bagel for the real deal!

I’ve been coming here since about 2016 roughly, this place is great. Always great food and service, Kathy recently took my order and it was the best service and experience I’ve had here. So glad to see such a great place have great employees.

I have been coming to Poppyseeds multiple times per week for a decade. This is the only spot in Matthews/Stallings that has a great selection of fresh bagels, bialys, crumb cake and cookies daily! They are fast, treat regulars RIGHT, and have so many bagel flavors and cream cheeses! I hate when a breakfast place does microwaved or egg patties like a fast food spot – Poppyseeds does it the right way. Fresh eggs cooked on the grill when you order. Makes a northerner proud! I’m not a NJ guy but they even have Taylor Ham/Pork Roll if that’s your thing!

As soon as you step in, you notice all the different types of bagels Poppyseeds Bagels offers. I tried the french toast bagel with butter. It was served crispy warm with schmeared butter. Very delicious. Along with bagels for breakfast, they serve eggs with bagels or eggs with ham, sausage, and bacon. The restaurant was very clean and the staff greets you as soon as you enter.

I went here today for the first time , I had a cinnamon and raisin bagel , with honey and almond cream cheese it was good . The bagel was a little hard but it did taste good. The young lady who took my order was very nice. The restaurant was also very clean. I will definitely go back and try some more things.

Price was outrageous. 2 sausage egg and cheese bagels and bottled drinks was 28 dollars. Food was decent but not that good. I’ll sit down at an actual restaurant for that price.
