I have been to other locations but this one is huge and it has an extensive amount of items to choose from. They have something for everyone? Drinks, ice cream, food items, fruit and much more are available on the menu. I think one thing that was difficult is some items have a name but I had no clue what it tasted like or what was included such as some of the electable drinks. The servers were very friendly and offered to allow us to try whatever flavor we wanted to try. We decided to try the corn flavored ice cream. It actually had pieces of corn in the ice cream and believe it or not it was tasty. My mom ordered pistachio in a sugar cone and I had coffee, rum raisin and pistachio in a sugar cone bowl. We both enjoyed all of our flavors. The prices were reasonable compared to most places that have become way over priced. We will definitely be back to try some of the non dairy ice cream and one of the elaborate fruit drinks. Parking can be difficult to find but you can park down the street in one of the parking lots. The amount of flavors was the best part for me. The decor is very modern and picture friendly. The shop was clean and well organized. I have added this to my “I need ice cream” places to go.

Finally we have a la michocana at La grange. Very spacious. Carry all the great ice creams and snacks. Highly recommended.
The best part is that toppings are free

I thought this would have been my favorite location, clean and never as crowded as the other locations! I came late before close and didn’t mind the wait to be helped, the last Michoacana I went to made a “Flaming Hot Corn” with only corn, mayonnaise, and crushed Hot Cheetos. It was super bland so I figured a regular Elote or “Corn in a Cup” with Hot Cheetos would be much better as when we make them at home we use all the same ingredients and it comes out great. The menu has the Large Elote for $8.50 and the Flaming Hot Corn for $9.50, I explained how I would like for the cheese and butter to be added as well, just as a normal Elote. Basically a normal Elote with Hot Cheeto crumbs. This was also ordered in Spanish so there was no way there was any confusion. I even requested for the toppings to be on both top and bottom. I waited and paid without thinking, my mistake.
I was charged $8.84 for a Large Elote, and then another $4.26 for “Chips.” There was a man at the counter so I showed him and even explained that I asked for a Large Flaming Hot Elote, which is advertised as $9.50 but with the regular toppings as well. He was in the process of correcting the order and the lady who took my order insisted thats how the order is to be charged. So I asked if the entire bag was used since I was charged for an entire bag. She insisted it was, so I pointed out in that case the entire bag contents would make it impossible for the proper amount of Corn to be used, yet I was being charged for a full large corn and the entire bag of chips. I knew the entire bag was not used as I can visibly see the toppings on the corn.
The corn was prepared properly but my point was I was charged for the entire bag of chips when I clearly saw her scoop the toppings from the preprepared container. I should have been charged for the Flaming Hot Corn and a side of cotija cheese or an Elote and a side of the Flaming Hot topping. This location is already overpriced, I knew this and would gladly pay for the extra toppings. The lady instructed the man to give me $2 dollars back in cash. I didn’t want to be difficult and the location was already closing but that made zero sense. I asked the proper way to order it and she explained that the Elote would be charged as well as a side of Flaming Hot topping for an additional $2. So the charge should have been $8.50 (and not $8.84 but whatever) plus the $2 upcharge. With the 10% tax as shown the total should be $11.55 (or $11.92 for the made up price) but I didn’t make a big deal even though that is literal theft. The worse part is the lady acted as of I were insane for questioning the charges, she should have at least mentioned that there would be additional charges for the way I ordered and not have lied about using the entire “bag” I was charged for. I would have preferred a complete refund but I had already handed the corn to my wife to enjoy and it wouldn’t sit right for me to return it over a couple of dollars.
I also noticed the establishment does nothing to fix poor experiences so I was lucky to receive $2 back! Transparency with pricing and better customer service would go a long way…

It’s so beautiful inside and all of the ice cream options are sooooo good!! I’m honestly so surprised they dont have chocolate paletas though, those are my favorite. The horchata was too sweet and I won’t be getting again, plus its only one size. The menus are helpful but they transition way too fast for me to read. It’d also be more helpful if the menus had all the flavors listed before having to decide on the spot because there’s so many people in line. All in all, I love this location and I’ll be happy getting ice cream more often since its so close to me now! I heard someone complaining that this place is taking business from tates, but honestly they are so different and tates doesnt even taste good, just my opinion.
*forgot to add – The first 100 free paletas was only if you sign up for interest in home buying and there were no mariachis. Why would you advertise it like that on your grand opening.
