We ordered their crispy chicken shawarma’s (one with zaatar). Both were delicious. We also got to try the hummus, arnabeet (cauliflower), sumboosik blahmeh, and rakakat. We were blown away. All of the food was so fresh. We’ll be going back every time we are visiting Massachusetts.
Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing and concerning. We attended a night advertised as a Lebanese night with live music and a belly dancer. There was no mention of a prix fixe meal, and no menu or prices were provided for food or drinks, even after I asked for a drink menu.
Food was brought to the table without any explanation of what the dishes were or what ingredients they contained, and no one asked about allergies. I have a lamb allergy and experienced an allergic reaction after eating a small amount of an unidentified appetizer.
Service was chaotic and portions were extremely small. One chicken kabob was served for a table of four. The final bill for four people was $454.
While the initial spreads were excellent, the lack of transparency around pricing, ingredients, and allergens made this an experience I cannot recommend, especially for anyone with food allergies.
First impression was the staff/owner was super friendly and very welcoming. The restaurant itself is small but the ambiance was very relaxing.
I had a ton of questions and they were more than happy to answer them. Very very friendly and that makes all the difference in the world as to what yr experience will be. I will definitely go back and try something else.
The food? Phenomenal. Easily some of the best Middle Eastern cuisine I’ve ever had—everything was bursting with flavor and clearly made with love. The warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel like we were visiting family. You can tell the team here genuinely cares.
Huge shoutout to our server, Kelly, who was an absolute gem. She knew the menu inside and out, answered all of our questions with a smile, and made us feel so welcome. Her friendliness and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable.
We’ll 100% be back soon—this spot is a new favorite!
Service is personable, wasn’t a fan of the packaged pita bread delivered to the table. Others probably like the covid-esk delivery.
I asked for mine to be take out of the plastic and warmed up. Delicious with the olive oil and sesame seed dip.
Ordered the lamp shawarma. It came with a crispy side salad, picked veggies (not a fan) wrapped up in a soft pita with plenty of tahini sauce. Superb. The mixed grill looked great.
Shawarma was so good ordered one to go!!
