Thier food was excellent (quesadilla, French dip, soup). My only issue was the homemade onion rings were barely warm when I got them. They would have been phenomenal if they were hot. Having said that. I would get them again just ensuring they were hot. The breading was light but crispy which means there breaded fish shod be very good also.

A bit outdated decor and vibes but clearly a popular joint for locals especially the well seasoned crowd.
We had friendly service and the food was good.
My dish was lacking just a bit. The white perch was unevenly cooked as it was overdone on one end and not so much on the other. The wild rice and steamed broccoli was lacking in flavor.
My dinner mates enjoyed their meals and I enjoyed the bits I tried from them.
We did get a strawberry shortcake to go and was disappointed once we got to our destination as it was just a small piece of pound cake and not what I would expect for this dessert.
Why a five star? This is a local ma and pa restaurant that would hurt from a negative review. I do hope the owners read reviews and address issues in house.

We were hesitant to stop in because they only had a 4.5 rating… well, I don’t understand that rating this place is 5 out of 5!! Our first time here a d we stopped for lunch. We were greeted upon arrival and the hostess promptly seated us. I was skeptical about ordering a hamburger but the menu stated hand patted patties and they were great! Not only do they hand pat their patties, all there chicken and beef is cut right in the kitchen. The tables are set in an upscale fashion with silverware wrapped in cloth Napkins. Along with the regular menu is a daily specials board that makes you feel like you are eating at Grandmas house. Our server is a 27 year vetran employee and she stated everyone has been there at least 12 years including the cooks The tables, chairs and decor in the dining room (separate from the bar) is vary pleasant and comfortable. The water is especially good as it comes from an Artisan well! We will make this Restraunt a must stop when traveling in this direction. Oh, did I forget to mention they grind fresh coffe beans to brew excellent coffee? They do! This place is fantastic and a long standing corner stone of this rural community. If your traveling or live near by give it a try you wont be disappointed.

I had the Beef Tips with Rice, Highly recommend it.
My husband had the Ruben, and he said it was really good.
We had Fried Mushrooms, ordered the 1/2 order, and it was a big order.
The Red, White & Boozy was very tasty.

Visiting friends and this is their go to restaurant in a fairly rural area. Think small town, not healthy comfort food, hearty portions and they’ll treat you like family. From greeting to exit; the service was excellent. The menu genuinely has something for everyone (fish, meat, salads, even Mexican!).
All of it was delicious and we cleaned our plates. Very affordable too. Large, clean, comfortable and has a dedicated free parking lot. I look forward to returning!

We travel all over the state for good restaurants, this is by far 1 of my favorites. They were busy but we weren’t affected by that because our waitress was amazing, I believe her name was Kayla, the food was delicious, came out fast and the way we asked, the price point is perfect for what is included. The portions are huge. Everything was just so good. We will definitely come back and bring our family next time. The manage is a super nice guy and is alsonout on the floor working! Great job.

A staple in the town, you could tell they’re not used to blacks in the restaurant, everyone was starring. We enjoyed our food and the man at the table next to us broke the ice and talked to us curiously.

I had the chicken fried chicken (with the gravy on the side) which was the crispiest and most tender chicken breast I think I’ve ever eaten. The coating was well seasoned and not at all greasy. My husband would say that it was a properly deep fried chicken breast. And while I didn’t really like the green beans, I ate them because I hate to waste food.
My son had the Reuben and fries and said the sandwich was very good and the fries were the best fries he’s ever had-and he’s 19 so he’s eaten a lot of fries! They were crispy and well-seasoned. Our server Angela was great as well. It was a little dark in the restaurant but I appreciated the holiday lights in the bathroom!

Visited for the first time with friends. We had the whitefish and fries, onion rings, and one friend had eggs Benedict. Food was amazing. Large portions. Really good fish! Fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. Onion rings were also just perfectly fried. And the Eggs Benedict were so delicious.

The decor is fresh and updated, everything seemed clean including the bathrooms. Everyone at the table had the fried shrimp. The light breading was insanely delicious and crispy. The mashed potatoes with gravy were awesome and the broccoli was actually real steamed broccoli, not something out of a freezer bag. Everything was very good. And we did a very good job of cleaning our plate. I guess it was kinda busy, but we only had a twenty minute.Wait and I definitely think it’s worth it because the shrimp was that good.
