We enjoyed our meal here. It took us a while to get a server, but we were enjoying the view. I had the lobster roll and he has the seafood platter and the clamp chowder. He RAVED about the clamp chowder and the variety and portions in the platter was great. The lobster roll was good, I think I would have liked it more if the lobster was warm not cold. Service was adequate once we ordered but we did have to ask for drink refills. The views were spectacular and the weather was perfect!

Our lobster dinner was delicious. I appreciated the placemat that explained how to tackle the lobster. The baked seafood dip was also very tasty. The view was lovely and our waitress was friendly.

Absolutely stunning service. Our server was a sweet attentive young lady who was wearing a cute 50s inspired outfit complete with checkered scarf and pearls. She was on top of our table of 8. With two under 4. She made our dinner a breeze and a delight.
Would recommend the blueberry cider! It’s delicious.
The shrimp scampi is absolutely delicious highly recommend.
The portions perfect.
The lobster roll hot or cold are well priced and quite tasty. Good portion well filled buttered brioche rolls. I don’t normally like coleslaw but here, I finished two.

The rating is pretty spot on. Service was pretty terrible despite the entire patio being empty and minimal amount inside. I’d just recommend this place for the views and one drink before heading to an actual spot.

Food was good! My husband enjoyed his lobster but very much. My lobster was boiled in salt water and think they brought half the water inside the lobster. Lobster was good but would have been a 5 if Steamed. 2 out of 4 chairs were sun/weather rotted on the edge.

I had the 1 1/4 lb lobster , which was reasonably priced, well-cooked and generously sized. (I’ve been eating lobster like it’s a competitive sport while on vacation, so I say this with some authority )
Steamed clams had a lot of flavor but a touch chewy. Clam chowder was delish, burger was good. My companion wasn’t impressed with the calamari, but if I can be fully honest, I don’t think you should come to places like these and get calamari.
Staff was super friendly and the views were so nice. Grab a spot outside if you can!

Our 3rd time to Southwest Harbor and we loved this place so much we keep coming back. WHY? The steamed lobster is always perfectly cooked and priced and we love learning from all the locals about the area and the views of the waterfront from this restaurant are 5 star. Great food, great views, great family operated place. Also a good place to mix with locals.

We ate here in late May 2024. Yummy burger and delicious fries. Good outdoor and indoor seating with a view from above the water- even if it was pretty foggy when we were there. There was almost nobody there when we had lunch here, but I’d highly recommend.
