The food was DELICIOUS! LAMB Vindaloo was not to spicy (surprisingly) and Chicken Birianyi was so tasty and flavorful. Be prepared to wait. It’s worth it

We have been here twice and the food is very good! I got the tikki masala the first visit and the vegetarian korma for the second visit. Both were good, but the masala was my favorite! Their garlic naan is delicious as well.

The food at Gurkha is solid. The North Indian biryani has good flavor—maybe a little heavy on the masala, and it could use more goat pieces, but overall, it’s worth the calories. Mango lassi is on point, and the pricing is fair. Normally, I don’t go out for Indian food because my mom’s cooking sets the bar too high, but this was a decent exception.

The place is set up as a bar and grill, but let’s be real—it’s more of a late-night hangout for the owner and his friends. He’s got the business running well, handling orders while making sure everyone in his circle is taken care of. His daughter holds down the bar and keeps the regulars entertained. Cool interior art, but it gets loud at night, so if you’re just here for the food, carrying out might be the move.

Overall, good food, fair prices. Just don’t be surprised if the owner’s confidence about his food is expressed through his mannerisms as it is as strong as the biryani spice.

Serving stale cold food in thali… disappointed.. So much noise at the background. wouldn’t suggest to go. If you could serve fresh food, I would say the food is good, but looks like you are cooking for a week. This happens only in Nepalese, indian restaurant and we complain why the business is going down

I had to ask for and had the “thali” for dinner. Photos of menus on the web listed it, but the printed menu offered did not: no explanation for the discrepancy. The items were varied and very well made, but there were no chapatis, only a very large amount of rice: I could finish but a quarter. I was told that Nepalis traditionally ate only-rice: perhaps so (I’ve dined at Nepali places which included chapatis) but I feel that they need to adapt to a larger audience and offer chapatis as part of the mix. Still, a strong recommend! I would gladly go again when next in the area.

Was craving some good Paneer pakoda and some good veg dinner so we ordered Paneer pakoda, Vegetable Korma, Mixed Veg, and some garlic naan. The food overall was decent. If I have to be specific the vegetables that were used on both the dishes were the exact same, Just the sauce was different. Naan was good, But Paneer pakoda was not upto the mark.
I have heard good things about the Non veg section of food here. But I was not satisfied that much with the vegetarian section.
Edit: Again got an opportunity to try Veg momo from this place and it was one of the best I have had in a while. Do go for their jhol momo. They do it right ❤️

I never ate in there, few times I used Uber but, most times, I picked up. Workers are so amazing and kind. Food?! PERFECTION!!! I had veg options for a while cause I can’t deal with the lack of flavor in general orders. Then……. I ordered the butter chicken! Delicious, amazing, portion! I’m so happy I’m right next to this place. Chefs and workers are 1000%%%.

The food was fantastic…the flavor combinations and spice were to die for.

We started with Vegetable Samosas and Chicken Pakora. Love all the dippin sauces were yummy but the tamarind chutney was divine.

We ordered 3 different entrees and 2 orders of garlic naan, so we could share. The lamb vindaloo masala was my fav…great tomatoey base. We had the goat curry and the chicken kadai. Both were delectable.

For my water drinkers, their water taste so good.

I ordered goat biryani but received chicken biryani instead. I always go there but not anymore. I think the chef and the employees should check properly before serving customers. Even the sticker is mutton but they gave me chicken. Very unsatisfying.

The food at this place is fresh and delicious. I have ordered from this place multiple times on Doordash and Everytime it hits the spot. The Tawa Paneer dish is specifically really good. Even the Gulab jamun didn’t taste like store bought ones. Highly recommend this spot!!
