Visit this place if you’re looking for a romantic dinner with your significant other—or if you’re trying to impress on a first date.
The food easily ranks in the top three of all the restaurants I’ve ever visited (no cap).
You get what you pay for, but the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality. Honestly, I’d gladly pay 1.5× more. One of my biggest pet peeves is paying premium prices for mediocre food, and that is not the case here.
The dining experience feels like fine dining without the over-the-top theatrics. Pure country vibes. Amazing food, clean environment, friendly staff, and consistently high quality.

I’m glad I went just for curiosity’s sake and I got a reason to go, for my birthday. Despite what somebody told me that, eating here is like just paying for the ambiance but he was wrong. Food was great, my steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender and tasty, ambiance was homy, staff are attentive, informative and friendly. What my husband said about the place was “For a place in the middle of nowhere, it’s a diamond in the rough, food was amazing. Best food he had in a long time, the meatloaf was unbelievable! ” This is a place worth going to, and we will be back.

The White Dog is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Every time my wife and I come to visit family, we make a point to stop here. It’s not just a meal, it’s part of the trip.
Start at the Beany Bar. Grab a drink and watch the sun go down over the plains—wide open and quiet, with views that stretch for miles. The bar itself feels like a Western Speakeasy, rustic and relaxed, with dim lighting, old stonework—it feels like stepping into the past in the best way.
The steak is always mouthwatering, the cheese board never disappoints, and the service feels personal without ever being too much.
The whole place is a gem. If you know, you know. Five stars.

Our first time to the white Dog and it did not disappoint!!! It’s such a neat place with a neat history behind it. Love the views from around there. We were seated in the sunset room and the view was great as the sun was going down. Can’t wait to try the other rooms next time. Our servers were great checking on us often and helping with advice on menu items. We ordered a cheese board first , it was really good . I had the ribeye and it was one of the best I ever had , cooked and seasoned great !! My wife had the grilled shrimp and it was great too . A other had the jalapeño infused pork chop and said it had great flavor and cooked great, and the peppers made it pretty warm. We were way to full for dessert, but sure want to save room and try it next time. It is definitely worth the trip !!!

It’s probably the best ribeye I’ve had so far. Their cranberry bacon green bean was better than I expected. This place is awesome, and the staff are great and friendly. Definitely have to come here and try it.

Great food & the owners are great people very nice. If you’re in this part of town and want to get the best steak around this area I would definitely recommend stopping in here for dinner. You definitely won’t regret it the quality of food is great & the price is very reasonable for it. Of course it’s not insanely cheap but you pay for what you get & compared to Vast in okc this place definitely has the same quality & way better prices then you’ll get over there. So give it a try trust me you won’t be disappointed at all well worth the price.

First time visitor and we loved it. The food was just perfect. Definitely coming back. I think we had the best seat in the house. It was my husband’s birthday and we loved our little table in front of a cozy fireplace. Enjoyed a beer at the Beany bar before dinner and caught a beautiful sunset.

Went here with group of approximately 14 people for a couples 50th wedding anniversary. Absolutely a must go to if you haven’t been there. Place is beautiful, setting and atmosphere a plus 10 stars. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with and food was great.
