Honestly a really cool spot! I got the veggie sandwich and it was great. My boyfriend ordered the chicken vodka sandwich and unfortunately got food poisoning… Honestly a great spot, I’m just giving helpful feedback so this can be prevented and this doesn’t happen to others! Yummy place:)

A solo diner having a reservation, I was warmly welcomed and promptly given a seat with great views.

The server was friendly and attentive. My cocktail (a negroni), appetizer (a single serving of focaccia) and dinner (stuffed rabbit w greens) were the stuff one brags about to friends. The creme caramel and an americano were a perfect.. even decadent.. way to wrap up a great experience. I’ll be back!

*Experience based on Takeout

Get their sandwiches! I have basically made my way through all their sandwiches and each are unique and full of fresh, quality, and flavorful ingredients. Their homemade focaccia makes the perfect sandwich. My personal favorites are any of their hot ones (Rochelle Rochelle, Little Jerry, and Hello Porchetta). Their Art Vandelay is everything I want in a chicken salad without being overly “mayo-y”.

Since this is solely on all takeout, I don’t know about their service. Ambiance is casual but has a romantic vibe with the dark colors.

I first discovered First & Last on TikTok and had to check it out for myself — and I’m so glad I did! From the street it looks small, but once you step inside, it opens up into a surprisingly large and welcoming space with plenty of seating and a great atmosphere.

The line moved quickly even during the lunch rush, and the staff kept things running smoothly. We ordered sandwiches, all made on fresh focaccia bread — no substitutions, but honestly, you won’t need any. Everything was full of flavor and thoughtfully prepared. My bread was a touch crunchier than I prefer, but it still tasted fantastic.

I had The Maestro ($19) and it was delicious, hearty, and filling — definitely worth it. Prices are a little on the higher side, but that’s expected for a spot in downtown Phoenix’s business district.

Overall, First & Last absolutely lives up to the social media buzz: great food, a cool atmosphere, and a fresh dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality lunch spot in downtown Phoenix!

Holy moly. The is the BEST sandwich I have ever had in my life. The flavor, the bread, the filling, just incredible! I got the Maestro and my boyfriend got the Little Jerry. Both are just so amazing and are so different. Truly happy with my purchase, I even thought they were a little pricey when grabbing them but they were absolutely worth every penny! I can’t wait to find an excuse to come back here to bring my family and friends!

Incredible Lunch Experience at Frist & Last in Phoenix!

As the AZ Foodie Realtor, I’m always on the lookout for amazing local eats, and Frist & Last in Phoenix did not disappoint! I stopped in for lunch and tried the special porchetta and the steak sandwich both were out of this world. The porchetta was incredibly flavorful and juicy, and the steak sandwich was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Whether you’re a fellow foodie or just looking for the best lunch in Phoenix, Frist & Last is a must-visit. One of the top restaurants in Phoenix for sure. Highly recommended!

So delicious! Stopped by on a whim, Saturday night, got a walk in table for 1 upstairs.
To note… if you want happy hour prices (7 days!!) it is only while seated at the bar…

Bolognese and focaccia were incredible – I’ll be back

One of my favorite places to eat in the Roosevelt area! Great place for a nice date night or night out if you’re looking for nice vibes. I know the sandwiches went viral but I personally love the dinners more. The cacio e Pepe is my all time fave. Amazing cocktails too!

I understand they don’t do modifications, I asked if they would put one sauce on the side. They said “I don’t make any modifications to my sandwiches “ it came across very pretentious. For $21 I should be able to at least ask to remove an ingredient. The sandwich was good but nothing amazing. We also had the cacio e pepe. It was very good but really small. My girlfriend didn’t get full from it and she don’t eat much. Had to give her half my sandwich. This restaurant’s vibe is very pretentious. The people next to us complained about event planning. Overall I would consider going back but i probably wouldn’t. If one of my boys wanted to go I wouldn’t oppose but I don’t hangout with the pretentious people who would like to frequent this place.

If I could have had no sauce, or the lady had been nicer about it I would have been a lot happier. Should could have just said sorry we can’t do that, but instead reminded me of the soup nazi from Seinfeld. Which honestly is probably what they’re going for with the Seinfeld theme.

The apple cider lemonade was really good.

Exceptional dining experience. The food is incredible and the service was attentive and authentic without an ounce of pretension. Visiting from the East Coast, but would make it a point to come back here every year.
