A cafeteria style restaurant located at the entrance of the Graceland Exhibits. I had the BBQ sampler. The brisket was dry but the chicken was seasoned. There were plenty of side options to choose from. The salads looked delicious and fresh. They have fountain drinks to choose from and tea. The cups were small though. I guess they wanted you to buy a larger souvenir cup
The restaurant had plenty of seating and wasn’t packed at all. After spending several hours walking the museums, sitting down to eat was well worth it. I spent $63 on two plates and I didn’t buy any souvenir items.

Went to see Sevendust at Graceland Soundstage and ate here before the show. The food was not the worst I have ever eaten but also was not great. I had chicken fingers, yams and green beans. I had corn bread as my bread option. The yams were good just bland. The green beans had too much butter on them. The corn bread was very sweet and more like cake than a corn bread consistency. The chicken fingers were dry and not much better than something I could have microwaved at home. I also had a peanut butter cookie that was decent. The meal was not super expensive at $18 or so(that included a nice souvenir tumbler – I am not sure what the price would have been otherwise for a regular cup). I would eat here again. Graceland is very well laid out. I wish that I would have been able to go to the ice cream parlor that they had but it closed at 5. I would eat here again if I came back. Everyone was friendly and the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice.

Vernon’s BBQ in Memphis? Honey, yes please! Those ribs were fall-off-the-bone fabulous—smoky, juicy, and dripping in that finger-lickin’ good sauce. I was out there living my best BBQ life. And don’t even get me started on the banana pudding… creamy, dreamy, and sweet enough to make you wanna slap your mama (but, like, respectfully). The vibe is casual, the staff are cool, and the food hits just right. If you’re near Graceland and not stopping by Vernon’s, what are you even doing?

The Vernon’s Smokehouse Restaurant in the Graceland Park is an attractive place that really could be much better. The food is good, but is prepared ahead and kept warm. The staff are not very friendly or outgoing but they do get the food dished up and get you checked out.

Spent over 3.5 hours touring Graceland without a break and we were famished.
We decided on dining@ Vernon’s smokehouse and we were not disappointed!
We ordered the meatloaf and brisket dinner plates with a chef salad.
Every single item ordered was on point.
We don’t like too much salt and the food was perfectly seasoned without the generous sodium.
The staff was friendly and helpful and gave that genuine Southern hospitality and we appreciate that.
Overall, the food was delicious, it hit the spot and was served with a smile.
We were fueled and ready to hit the road back to Nashville.
Thank You.

Unfortunately, I really wish I could give this a better review. Graceland was such an amazing experience, I thought the restaurant would be on par, but it was lacking…the food was meh, and the portions were small considering the price. We ate at the Graceland Guest House the night before, and it was excellent. Wish Vernon’s was better…

Located within Graceland and definitely worth eating. After our tour we decided to eat here and we were very impressed. Staff is super friendly and engaging, has plenty of seating and it’s very clean.
Wife and I shared the BBQ sampler with 2 sides $22. Came with ribs, pulled pork, chicken leg, slice of brisket, sliced of chicken breast. The sides we had was delicious; the creamy Mac & cheese was fantastic, the baked beans had sweet and hickory flavor, mashed potatoes with the gravy was on point and the cornbread oh my, moist and sweet (get 2) lol. Cherry cobbler for dessert was great way to top it off.
A must try after the Graceland tour

This was really good barbecue. We ordered the two sampler plates and ate them in the bar. Here we saw the only bottle of Myer’s rum since we left the East Coast! This bar was more well-stocked since most during our trip in terms of x amount of higher end popular brands. We ordered two frozen strawberry margaritas to go with our meals.
Our plates had both pork ribs on the bone and pork off the bone which was chopped in front of us before being added to our dish. Really tender and tasty. A chicken leg and kielbasa or sausage were also included. The corn bread was one of the better ones I’ve had after years of trying so many recipes. Moist, not dry, the right density, not dry or grainy and no grease.
For sides we chose macaroni and cheese, broccoli, and hush puppies. The broccoli was cooked perfectly – bright green and tender but still firm. Bonus: We were told we could keep our Graceland cups our drinks came in!

Food is not good at all, very bland and the BBQ,,,,well it’s not good at all, especially for a “Smokehouse”, I mean it’s Memphis, don’t ya think they could at least nail the BBQ? Sides were not good either, bland corn bread, chewy green beans, etc. I really wanted it to be good but it’s really not, save your money and take it across the street to eat at The Guest House, basically the same price but MUCH better food (EP’S for the win!!).

I cannot really comment on the food. Was there for a small educational seminar. Placed was very clean, only had the buffet available to us. Service was friendly. Appear to be a very nice tourist eatery for those visiting Graceland. No a destination for local Memphians.
