Sushi is of consistent quality here. Had karami fire bites (definitely recommend!) and the buy 2 get 1 special roll for online ordering- green arrow, candy cane and Alaskan and green arrow was by far the best of the 3 🙂 was plenty to share with leftovers.

Atmosphere was nice and quiet and peaceful. They did have a TV playing a movie, but it was not too loud. My kids actually enjoyed it …. Will be back.

Don’t let the “Not so esthetic” exterior deter you. The inside is beautiful, and the sushi is AMAZING! I’ve had sushi at Spider, Izakaya 88, and other spots, and I’ll have to say Hachi Sushi is my favorite. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Hachi Sushi is pretty good. I’m not a fan of their rice at all but the rest of the food is delicious so I just eat it without the rice. I had the steak and shrimp.

Super cute little sushi restaurant! It’s small and cozy. The staff are very kind, and the ambience is very chill. I love their gyoza and edamame. My favorite is the salmon roll, and the quality of their salmon is something I want to comment on because it’s the best raw salmon roll I’ve ever had. <3

Nice staff, and nice presentation of the food. I like the atmosphere of the dine in area. The food unfortunately was just not good at all. The rice was very bland, the chicken was super dry, steak was very bland and dry, our sushi roll was not good. Not something we would try again, especially for $50 it was very disappointing, but I did appreciate how nice and polite the staff was.

There are two Hachi Sushi spots in the Rockford area, and this one is definitely the superior one. The food tastes fresh, flavorful, and consistently good, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. We picked up dinner for two for around $20, and the portion sizes were more than fair for the price. It’s probably the best hibachi option in Rockford—granted, the bar isn’t very high—but this place clears it comfortably. A great go-to for quick, tasty, and affordable takeout.

Went here for the first time last night and can confidently say I will be returning! Upon walking in I thought the place was so beautifully decorated! My favorite part was the Lego cars but despite that I was not expecting my sushi roll to come out so beautifully! I just got a basic California roll as that’s really the only sushi I care for but wow they made it very pretty! I felt so special eating here and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Also didn’t need to wait long for my food either. Will be returning soon! Thank you ☺️

We loved it here! Every single Japanese restaurant was closed on Halloween and we were so disappointed. As a last-minute attempt we found this place online and decided to try it out. We walked in and were instantly impressed by how clean it was. The menu is extensive and had a lot of options. It’s an adorable fast food/restaurant combo, and the staff were so nice. AND, the food was insanely good when compared to high-end Japanese restaurants. Loved it, highly recommend it, and will absolutely come again.

Always a great place. Service is always quicker than the average fast food place and the quality is always top notch every visit. So nice to see a company obviously use their covid kickback to better their business.
