Punugulu and Chilli Paneer were good.
Malai kofta and Guntur Paneer veg Biryani were delicious.
Bread basket had Onion kulcha and Garlic bread and were delicious as well.

Excellent non veg thali with a comforting homemade touch. I also tried the Dindigul Thalappakatti Biryani which was very flavorful and delicious. The quality and taste of the food truly stand out and make it worth visiting again.

Gongura paneer biryani and vijayawada paneer biryani were good. There’s no veg dum biryani available. Seating was good and service was not delayed. Biryanis and salan tasted great. Raita tasted like sour cream though.

Tried this place today after knowing its reputed sunnyvale branch. Turns out the taste is exactly the same as the other location. Good biryani taste and the saalan was pretty good too. Definitely coming back for more.

I ordered food from Ulavacharu, and it was a terrible experience. There was hair in the noodles, and the capsicum still had the price tag on it. The food quality was horrible. They also charged me for Gulab Jamun but didn’t deliver it. I’m attaching an image for reference.

We started with Andhra Mirchi Bajji and Chicken 65 — both were perfectly cooked, bursting with authentic Andhra-style flavors, and beautifully presented. The Vijayawada Paneer Biryani was the star of the evening — rich, aromatic, and packed with the right blend of spices that truly captured the essence of traditional South Indian cuisine. Every bite reminded us of home!
The ambience of the restaurant is warm, clean, and welcoming — perfect for family dinners or friendly get-togethers. The staff were extremely courteous, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Their hospitality really stood out and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.
It’s clear that the chefs take great pride in maintaining authentic taste and top-notch quality. From the presentation to the flavors, everything exceeded our expectations.

I had an amazing experience at this ulavacharu restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — rich flavors, perfect spice levels, and everything tasted freshly made. The butter chicken and biryani were outstanding, and the naan was soft and buttery.
The service was warm and attentive, and the staff made great recommendations. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with nice Indian music playing in the background, which made the dining experience even better.

I have always been a big fan of Ulavacharu restaurant in Sunnyvale and so happy that they have opened a new branch in Pleasanton as well ! We were a bunch of friends who wanted to have warm fresh food for dinner after a long drive. Couldn’t have asked for better option than Ulavacharu! They have the same top notch quality like that of Sunnyvale Branch! We had variety of options in appetizers , breads , curries and biryanis . My friends who are non vegetarian also enjoyed warm and delicious food ! Customer service was great! Hands down My #1 choice for Indian restaurant in Bay Area. Can’t wait for this branch to start their buffet !

We ordered the keema and Charminar fry piece biryani. The chicken pieces tasted stale, and the biryani rice was bland and lacked flavor. It was a huge disappointment—nowhere near the quality of the Ulavacharu Santa Clara branch.
