Got the Chicken Alfredo was decent. Very excellent service, gives off a quiet modern cafe vibe. Pefect for a date, easy to talk in this quiet Mexican Bistro. Definitely would eat here again.

We have had both breakfast and lunch at La Palma and have never been disappointed. My husband ordered the steak and eggs for breakfast and I ordered the Ham & eggs, both were DELICIOUS! We have also had their burgers and absolutely loved them!!
The staff is very nice and great atmosphere.
Only suggestion would be to change the metal seats as they are a little uncomfortable and get more signage out front to get more traffic in the place.
Definitely will be back!

The place is small so seating is limited. Staff were friendly and service was good. My wife ordered the ribeye and I had chicken fried steak. Mine was tasty but underwhelming. Small steak – looked to be about 4 ounces. Enough gravy to barely cover the steak. And no meat in the gravy. There are way better, and less expensive, options right in town. Mac and cheese was oily and the corn was obviously from a can with no seasoning apparent. The asparagus was nearly raw. The ribeye was the biggest disappointment. Looked to be about 1/8 inch thick and under seasoned, yet somehow managed to cook it medium rare so hats off to the cook for that! Still not worth the $28.00 price tag. Bright spots were the loaded mashed potatoes and the potato chips, both of which were outstanding but not enough to get us to go back.

Ordered about 2:15, absolutely only the 4 of us there. It took till 2:43 for PANCAKES and an additional 15 minutes for a kids Mac and cheese. We also ordered chicken taco salad, the mega burrito and breakfast tacos, all pretty bland, except the steak peices in the burrito that were amazing! When our dishes came out and 20 min passed and still no pancakes and Mac i went up to the counter, to make sure it was still coming out and was told that because I ordered it with the toppings on the side and they had put them on top, it was being remade, when I asked if the Mac and cheese could be brought out, she said yes right away and then 5 minutes later brought out the pancakes instead, but with all the stuff on top…so that was confusing and then still no mac and cheese. I was really hoping to find a small local spot we could go to regularly but this unfortunately isnt an option.

My husband and I ate here last night, and we ordered the Alfredo with chicken and shrimp and the chicken sandwich and fries! Everything was very good the Alfredo had a little kick (spice) to it, but not too much! Very good restaurant we will be back!

This is a hidden gem in Florence. You need to come and try this very authentic and very good tasting food. We stopped for breakfast and must say is the best in Florence. Very good food presentation and big portions so you will not leave hungry. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.
