Delicious food and friendly staff.
Madam Pho has a good variety of Vietnamese food on their menu and are constantly adding new items.
I noticed recently they have added their Special Beef Short Rib Pho and being a big fan of Beef Short Rib (and Pho), I knew I just had to try it out!
I ordered the new dish and it didn’t dissapoint. The beef Short Rib was tender and slow cooked to perfection. The meat was just short of falling off the bone. The special beef pho was delicious and full of flavour. There was plenty fresh herbs served on a side dish, allowing me to add it in slowly as I ate. Unlike other places that already place it on top of the pho, which ends up cooking the herbs before I get to finish.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Special Beef Short Rib Pho and will gladly come back…
I wonder if they will have a bone marrow option?!…

I go here all the time on my lunch break- the staff are friendly (it can get really busy too!), and food is quick, delicious and consistent. I especially like their combination vermicelli and combination pho, and I have dreams about their pork spring rolls and sugarcane prawn.

I’ve tried their Pho many times and it’s always good. The soup is on point and it’s overall very enjoyable.
I also recommend the Crispy chicken vermicelli salad. It’s very delicious, well balanced sauce and chicken is cooked very well.
Pho and Crispy chicken vermicelli salad are two of my favourite meals but yet to try others.
Service is quick, efficient, clean interior and although indoor space is small there are a plenty of seats outside

Don’t be fooled, they are now cutting down on the meat. The large pho contained the same portion of meat as the regular. The large is now only taken up mostly by noodles. Never get the large

I’m a regular customer and have ordered this way many times before call, confirm, then pick up. It’s always been straightforward until today.
I called to place my order, the staff confirmed everything and even thanked me before ending the call. There was no confusion at all on my end.
Yet when I arrived about 20 minutes later, I was told they “weren’t sure if I was coming to pick it up.” I was also accused of hanging up after being asked to “wait for a moment,” which is completely false.
If the staff were genuinely unsure, why didn’t anyone bother to call back and clarify? Instead, the responsibility was pushed onto the customer, despite the order being clearly confirmed and acknowledged.
As a regular customer, this was frustrating and unprofessional. Poor communication like this shouldn’t be happening, especially when the mistake is then blamed on the customer.

Affordable and authentic Vietnamese dishes. My fave was the sugarcane prawns with vermicelli sheets – you get to make the rice paper rolls yourself and the prawns were so flavourful. Also loved the crispy Vietnamese pancake and the comforting northern style pho. They have lots of tasty Vietnamese drinks and desserts like the three colour drink and Vietnamese iced coffee. Extremely well priced, authentic and generously portioned Vietnamese. Got the L Bun Bo Hue and Brisket Pho and the flavours hit all the right spots, salty spicy and comforting. Meals all less than $20 with all the usual hits, perfect for those indecisive minds. Although the seating is limited inside, open seating outside provides plenty of space for larger groups. Definitely give this place a go when in Rhodes.
