We were on vacation in Southern California and ran across Douglas burgers. Usually when we are on vacation we like to try new places and have found that some of these smaller, family run restaurants have the best food. Douglas definitely fulfilled that. Their food is just wonderful. They have a nice variety but it’s not overwhelming. They also have reasonably priced breakfast dishes so you should definitely try those at least once. The staff is multilingual so you don’t have to worry if you speak a different language. They are also very friendly and the food is fresh and made right in front of you.

It was our first time trying this place. I’ve heard good things!! And the rumors are true. My son had a bacon cheese burger, and he loved it!! I had a the turkey club and so far it’s the best I’ve ever had. It was gigantic, very fulfilling. Was able to take some home. We will definitely coming back. You MUST try.

Great tasting cheeseburger and fries combination! My girlfriend and I come from over 20 miles away to eat here sometimes, but it was on our way back from Long Beach this time and it was the perfect lunch! Staff is nice, good cook, and the food was delicious! Wish I had taken a photo to share… next time ’cause we’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Douglas burgers # 8!!
