I had a take out order for a Cajun chicken sub and my husband picked it up for me. My husband returns home with my sub and once I open it and pick up on half of the sub, there was a long, pink hair wrapped around the bottom of my sub. I called them to let them know what had happened, never asked for a refund or replacement, and to be honest was pretty nice about it when I shouldn’t have been. The girl answering the phone, Angelina, sounded nice until I made her aware of the long, pink hair in my food and I advised that I’m not longer eating my food and to be sure that whoever’s hair it is, to not let it get in someone else’s food. The girl literally said “yea…. Well, sorry about that” with the most sarcastic voice ever. I then got mad at that point and said “yea well this is kind of a big deal and a health hazard, so….” And she said again “well I said we’re sorry”. At that point I just hung up. That’s absolutely ridiculous. Do better.

Great place to grab a quick sub? The subs are very tasty and juicy. They are much better than subway for sure. Not to mention the sauces are great. They are ranked by their hotness. I went up to 8 and it was not very hot. I recommend this place for beverly . Thee have very good suba.

I’ve always loved firehouse subs. The Italian and brisket are both my favorites. However, I’ve not been to firehouse since before my pregnancy. Fast forward a few years later, I purchased a kids meatball sub for my young child and it was EXTREMELY small. Maybe 3 inches in length and only two tiny meatballs, 1/2 of a slice of cheese on top. Very little red sauce. My TODDLER, ate the whole sandwich and was begging for more food afterward. The kids meal is not worth the price and you will still have to hit McDonald’s for a happy meal when you leave here. Very disappointed in the portions.

Something for the younger generation to consider, when an elderly person is looking for a “call in order” please consider that they might mean a mobile pick up. I submited an order for my mom and she drove there and back home without her food that I paid for. After I called the shop, they explained they didnt think to check there for her… So she’ll be eating cold food an hour after its been made with no offer to remake reheat or even a bag of chips as a sorry.

I just ordered three sandwiches and mac and cheese to go from this store. There was a roach in the bag with my food. I immediately threw the whole bag outside into the trash bin. When I called to ask for a refund, the manager was extremely rude. She started the conversation by telling me that there are no roaches in the store and refused to refund the order. She wanted me to dig through the trash bin to get the bag of food back out and bring it to the store. I explained that I could not do that, and she then refused to refund the purchase.
We will NOT return to this location again, which is a shame, since we were regulars. I’ll be purchasing my sandwiches somewhere with fewer roaches and rude employees.

Love the food but go all the way to another location. Young lady with Panda costume was very rude to me and the young lady with the black button up sat there and didn’t say anything. She rubbed off as discriminatory. Be careful the wrong person would pursue it further. Five Guys customer service is great chat with your neighbors

Firehouse Subs is based in Jacksonville, Florida. It was founded in 1994 by brothers (and former firefighters) Chris and Robin Sorensen. The American based restaurant chain boasts over 1,200 locations in 46 states, with additional locations in Puerto Rico and Canada. Florida houses the majority of these with 179 locales.
It’s a rarity when I have an opportunity to conduct a second review for the same restaurant, or in this instance, the same chain. Toward that end, the West Melbourne location (in Hammock Landing) presented just such an occasion. It’s also worthy of note that my previous rating was made, when service was given more weight in the process, in a time when service mattered. However, as the metric has now changed, wherein presently, my score is largely determined based upon the quality of the food, so too has my review, and it’s certainly for the better.
Allow me to digress for a moment, however. I simply must mention that Julian, the counter help, did an outstanding job. Since several additional restaurants were on the itinerary, I restricted my order to two, four-inch subs: a steak and cheese, and a Jamaican jerk turkey. Are these two anything special? No. Are either likely to garner a culinary award, or win a prize for prettiest bellibone? No. However, if I were staring down a Jersey Mike’s, a Subway, or a Firehouse, I’d happily choose the latter.

My party and I were in the Firehouse Sub store at 225 Palm Bay Rd. Melbourne FL. 32909. We arrived a couple of minutes before 5pm. Stood in line, then ordered. We were told by the manager that the they don’t take $50 bills after 5pm. I had only four $50 bills. My oder came up to over 30 dollars. Yet we were refused service because of their policy when it was 5pm on the dot. My fiancé and I were the only black people in the establishment and the place had seven other customers who were white. Totally upset about how Firehouse subs treated us as were totally discriminated against.
