This place is great! Some of the best salsa I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Has the lunch taco salad and it was larger than the dinner servings at some other Mexican places. Very clean and the atmosphere is great.

If I could choose a minus 5, I would! The tea is watered down and doesn’t taste like tea. The frozen strawberry margarita is Terrible! The hard taco was okay, soft taco was okay, salsa was okay, bean dip was covered with watery cheese. The manager was called over to advise that the margarita was not good, he said whatever there’s nothing I can do and no one told me: I said, I’m telling you. I told I’ll pay for it but he needs to know that it doesn’t taste good. The benches are all cracked and uncomfortable to sit on (especially in leggings). This restaurant is Not on my recommendation list!!!!

They were not very polite when I came in. I found a bug inside of my chicken enchilada, so I left. I was grossed out. No one apologized, but the waiter did offer to bring another one. I declined.

I fell in love with this place when I worked next door at Roses but, since then, they have gotten mega rude and dishonest. Their chicken ‘quesadillas’ used to be a dream but, I guess they were so busy with their pale-skinned, frequenting customers that my $50 for ten quesos was beneath them. We ordered 30 mins. before we even went to Montevallo and they said it would be 10 mins. We got there 45 mins. later and our food was not prepared! We had to stand at the counter like lost children whilst someone in the back slapped together our ‘order’. For $50, we got ten ‘quesos’ w/ hardly ANY cheese on a tortilla fresh out of the pack, not buttered across a grill, like usual, No napkins & no plastic ware. They didn’t even thank us for our business, wish us well & ask us to return to their establishments like they normally would. Not to mention, the out of pocket, rude & bewildered stares we got from other patrons within/entering the restaurant. I will never go back!

Some of the workers are very rude. I ordered carry out. They messed my steak up along with my tacos and refused to fix it. Won’t eat there again. That’s not how you treat a customer. Argued and told me I didn’t order my steak rare. Just ridiculous. They get a lot of business I don’t know why honestly. I have heard several ppl with the same problem. I guess they don’t care about a few orders they mess up as long as business is good.
