I’ve been craving for real Neapolitan pizza, one with airy edges and blistered from wood oven fire coz that to me is a real pizza and when searching, I came across this restaurant. If you’ve been to Italy, this pizza restaurant here is the closest you’ll get to Italy! Real Neapolitan pizza. Thin, chewy crust with flavor that is simple yet divine! It’s a gem finding this restaurant in Fredericksburg. And the tiramisu melts in your mouth. We even came back the next day to order 2 pizza Margherita for to go so my 4yr old nephew who finished 1 whole pizza when we went to Italy could try it. True enough, he loves it and finished 3 slices being giddy while eating it.
This place is highly recommended.

The pizza here is amazing! We got 3 different types and loved them all. The ousters were very good as well! They have a great drink menu too. If you’re looking for pizza, definitely give this place a try! So good!!! There was no wait either, which was nice.

Stopped in for lunch and they have a beautiful and calm, easy to speak environment. The staff is very friendly, speedy, and considerate. There is outdoor and indoor seating. They have high chairs and is kid friendly. Bathrooms inside & is very clean, dark lit with ambient music. The sausage is spicy for those who don’t like too much heat, but with very good flavor for those who do! We were offered a sample and got a bottle of wine to take with us. The food is absolutely amazing and they did good with special requests. Highly recommend to any wine & pizza lover!

Amy Marie is always a pleasure! This was one of our many visits here but the 2nd time we’ve had Amy and we will ask for her every time now. Meatballs are always top tier and the pizza is undeniably the best in town. Save room for dessert because the layered chocolate cake & tiramisu are house made and INCREDIBLE!

My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and we absolutely LOVED it! The service was like no place other, they gave us complimentary drinks and dessert to celebrate us on our day. Audrey our waitress was amazing and very kind. She helped guide us through the menu and dare i say the food was DELICIOUS. We are huge foodies so when we say this restaurant was one of the best we’ve been to, we mean it! Definitely will be coming here again!

This probably doesn’t even deserve 2 stars. Top 5 worst pizzas ever if not THE worst. The crust tasted bland and almost like whole wheat. Some of the bottom was burnt as well. But truly blander than bland. There were whole slices of garlic underneath the cheese all over and it did nothing for flavor of the pizza and everything wrong in texture and random whole garlic flavored bites. Who would even think that’s a good idea?
The sage sausage bits were good but few and large which was awkward to try to eat.
The meatball appetizer was okay but small. I did quite enjoy the Shirley temple I ordered. However it was my first Shirley temple so I cannot say how it compares to the standard.
Mostly, the service was atrocious. We walked in and stood at the counter and were completely ignored by two employees working up there until finally one came back and then semi welcomed us and sat us. Our waitress was the most glum ever. Have no idea what her name was because she didn’t even welcome us at all.
Horrible pizza. Very few options on the menu overall. Terribly unfriendly service in a southern town which just seems wrong.
Cannot recommend NOT going here enough.

The food was incredible from the start, our chicken Caesar salad was the best I have ever had! Then the pizza and pasta came and it was perfection! Everything tasted amazing. We ended with a deconstructed tiramisu which was amazing. So much texture! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had the loveliest dinner at Prometheus Pizza in Fredericksburg, Texas. We sat out on the patio, where the soft lighting and gentle background music created a relaxed, romantic atmosphere that made the evening feel special from the moment we arrived. Dave was our server and he was fantastic… warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about both the food and the wine, striking that perfect balance of being present without ever hovering.
We started with the calamari, which was tender, perfectly fried, and full of flavor… easily one of the best versions we’ve had in a long time. For our main, we shared the Spaghetti Western pizza, and it was outstanding: a crisp, well‑baked crust, generous high‑quality toppings, and a great blend of Italian and Texas flair. My wife enjoyed a glass of Sangiovese red, while I had a Texas Hill Country Montepulciano from their list; both wines were excellent and paired beautifully with the food, showing that they’ve put real thought into their wine program.
Between the great service from Dave, the delicious food, and the inviting patio ambiance, Prometheus Pizza has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Fredericksburg. It’s the kind of place that works just as well for a casual meal as it does for a date night, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again.
