The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for honey. Mel can be derived from the name Melissa meaning honey-bee. The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

My friend and I had drinks: bees knees which is soooo tasty and the cucumber basil which was super refreshing!
We had the lamb skewer as our appetizer which comes with two skewers. The flavors were incredible and everything was beautifully balanced. Try a bite of of everything together: Pickled Onions, Spicy Roasted Tomato Relish and yogurt. Just WOW.
We also enjoyed the Rigatoni Lamb Bolognese which was delicious, it melted in our mouths. The sauce was just lovely. Highly recommend. It was an absolute different experience than the skewer. It won’t disappoint.
We also had the shrimp cavatelli which was a delicious dish as well. The sauce is tasty with a little zing along with the cheese!
Andddd we couldn’t leave without trying dessert:
I had the rosé from Macedonia and my friend got the espresso martini. This is a delicious espresso martini and very unique! Try it out! We were also super tempted by the donuts and had to try them. The presentation was so eye pleasing and cute, just look at the picture! It comes with icecream, crushed walnuts, honey and homemade chocolate milk! It’s like a choose your own adventure: dessert addition! Absolutely delicious!!
I want to come back and try more! Service throughout our dining experience was wonderful.
My dad said it’s his new spot so will definitely be going back. Was a little loud the night we went but all in all a great time was had.
Wedge salad (yes please), steak tartar (so good!), lamb ragu (tasty), lamb kabobs, branzino (chef’s kiss), short rib, and lamb neck (excellent). Everything was delicious!
It ended up being a little more fancier than I expected. It was a total surprise to my wife, the drinks we ordered were delightful.
They have a nice daily fresh baked bread with yogurt sauce, and olives. It’s a nice touch to the “Free Bread” while waiting for your meal courtesy. The waitstaff was very nice to us and everything we ordered came with a presentation. All the way down to the tablet napkins that expand with hot water, we received after our meal. Honestly, If you like Greek food and want to take your date for an intimate night out, with dim lights and hearty conversation? Melina is a great choice.
The food was fantastic, especially the flavorful mezze and the perfectly prepared mains. However, the highlight of the evening was the exceptional service provided by our server, Tom. He was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our entire visit. His presence made the dining experience truly seamless and memorable.
For anyone looking for authentic flavors and 5-star service, Melina is a must-visit.
