Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Tried the new Whataburger location for the first time and now I finally know what I’ve been missing! The burgers were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The fries were delicious and the spicy ketchup is a must try.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is a great new addition to the area. Pro tip: download the Whataburger app and you can get a free Whataburger with your next purchase.

Very clean. And I don’t know why but everyone here was super nice. Very clean place with the best bathrooms I’ve ever seen. And even with me doing a complex burger order they made it perfectly how I wanted it. Entire staff was very attentive. I’m still in the parking lot in shock at how good this experience was

I previously posted a 5 star review for Whataburger in Stockbridge, but I had to post an update after my visit to this location yesterday. This was our third visit and we were so disappointed. There is nothing worse than a restaurant being inconsistent with service and food. Upon entry, there was no one at the counter. We waited for a bit expecting someone to appear, but that didn’t happen. There were other customers placing their orders on the kiosk so we did the same. After placing our order, the ticket stated to go to the counter to get your drink cup. No one was present at the counter to ask. We had to wait until someone appeared from the back to get the cup. We didn’t have to wait long to receive our food and after seeing what we received, we understood why. The fries were limp and luke warm. They were not fresh, you can tell they had been sitting awhile. The burgers were thrown together. There was very little condiments and other fixings on the burger and it too wasn’t hot. My drink was missing from my tray. So, I had to wait at the counter for someone to reappear to ask for my drink while my food sat even further. After requesting my vanilla shake, I returned to my seat to consume food that wasn’t hot upon receipt. I got my shake, tasted my shake, and returned to the counter to wait again for someone to show up. The shake wasn’t good. It tasted weird. Almost as if an ingredient was spoiled. I received a cup to get a fountain drink. By the time I returned to my seat, I was no longer interested in eating. I drank my fountain drink, consumed my apple pie and threw the rest of the food away. I’m not sure what’s happened to this location but the food was lack luster compared to our first two visits. You can tell that no one in that kitchen is taking pride in the food they are servicing to customers. It was bad enough for me to never return. I’ll go back to Culvers in McDonough where the food is always served hot and fresh.

First time to WhatABurger – always heard the burgers were really good, and they were sooo right! Ordered at the kiosk and loved that I could customize it. I typically eat fish or chicken and they made it hard not to order a burger again…Lol! The team was very friendly and efficient. In fact, a team member and the manager both stopped by to check with each customer. I’ll be returning soon for the fish and chicken options soon!

Went through the drive thru on 1/30/26 at 4:43 pm!
Montureous was the cashier and when I say he provided superior service . He Explained the wait and apologized . Our food was still in the fryer he came out and brought hot fresh food and had the most delightful presence!

My fries wasnt fresh at all more like microwaved hot. I ask forgot to ask them for no mustard after ordering and I told them at the door I forgot to tell them no mustard. I guess one of the employee was being fun by putting a container of nothing much mustard in my bag. I will not be going back after seeing the other reviews.

Worst Whataburger ever
Ordered the straight #2 double burger nothing added or held. Got a mashed meat/cheese/mustard mess. 10 minutes, waiting for the re-make, then 5 minutes to get a refund. Not that busy, everyone seemed disinterested. Wife’s food was good, my fries were too.
