Servers and cooks deserve raises. They are always short staffed but go the extra mile to serve the costumers.
Through the years they had a good crew or just 1 or 2 individual that are good but they don’t last due to the cost of living and minimum pay.

They need to work on their service. It takes too long to get someone to answer and allow you to place your order (15 minutes)
Then it takes them forever to make the order and bring it out…large onion rings, hot fudge sundae, large butterfinger blast. I shouldn’t be there 30 minutes for this especially since it’s so costly!

Used the app to order my food and drink they always forget the add-ons and I asked for real strawberries not seeds lol. The drink isn’t awful just disappointing. I’d given them a good review before but this is the second occurrence this month, last time I went I waited for 20 minutes (place only had about 5 cars). The screen said someone was on their way with my drinks, the message went away after 3 minutes. I waited patiently and after 15 more minutes I pressed the button to ask what happened with my order. I finally received my drinks, the ice was practically melted (not even SONIC ICE was used!!!) I don’t know what is going on in there but someone has to go retrain or something. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Update: ordered 3 shakes in the app. After checking in, it immediately said on its way which WAS NOT TRUE! IT TOOK them 10 more minutes to get it to us with no customers. On either side. Then didn’t inform us they were out of whipped cream till they got it to the car.

Like every other local Sonic or Dardanelle chain, “If you don’t like it, too bad or go somewhere else” mentality it feels like. I’ve always had to wait too long for sub par food.. any fries, tots and onion rings I’ve ordered were burnt, stale or soggy mush, burgers and sandwiches overly greasy or absolutely dry, ice cream and shakes have a light dusting of preferred topping at best. This has always been my experience, hopefully yours is better but I’d rather take the hit on gas and go to Pottsville and risk running into a ticket friendly officer if I want Sonic.

Update 5/18. Carhop was very friendly and burger was perfect. But, 1 star. Took 19 minutes to get a double cheeseburger and the wrong drink. Ordered a slush with 2 flavors and instead got a soda with no added flavor and so full of ice there was barely any soda. No discount or refund–charged full price but received less product.
Ordered 2 sodas through the app while sitting at the stall. Checked in and then 6 minutes later, the screen said it was on its way. TWENTY ONE MINUTES to get 2 sodas. No real “special” order except that one was no ice. They didn’t have a delivery/truck here to unload and they weren’t really that slammed–when I got there, there were 3 vehicles, when I left there were 9. When I finally got my drinks, both were stuffed full of ice and the cups were covered in soda pooled on top of the lids and down the sides. Wasn’t even offered napkins to clean off the soda that spilled on me because she didn’t warn me that they were messy.
