So glad we drove a little out of our way, this place is great. Our waitress was awesome. Got a chorizo western omelette with a side of banana bread french toast. Ridiculous. Should have a 6 star rating

Love the Red Barn and you will too. This local Towaco restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch and has a loyal following of regular customers. The menu boasts a variety of favorites as well as a weekly specials menu. For those looking for something sweet, the Ref Barn has an in-house baker that bakes delicious pies, muffins, cinnamon buns and cookies. Be sure to bring your appetite because the portions are very generous!

Went for breakfast last Sunday, after hearing so many people tell me about this place.
Let me preface this by saying that I am from the Deep South, and since I’ve moved to New Jersey, I have yet to find a place that satiated my yearning for a down-home-sittin’-at-grannie’s-breakfast-nook feel… until now.
I was immediately and cheerfully greeted by several staff members, Toni, Kelsey, and others in a bustling atmosphere loaded with the smell of coffee and breakfast… with cute signs hanging everywhere. I felt like I was home!
Chelsea treated us like we were in her home… brought our food out quickly, drinks were always full, and the food was FANTASTIC!! I almost cried when I saw Louisiana Hot Sauce on the table and grits on the menu.
Our daughter has quite an affinity for all the Easter decorations and the giant rooster outside the front door. 😀
We can’t wait to come back. Thank you to ALL of the staff there!

Look I’ll be honest when I say this.
I love the workers here. Our waitress was really kind, honestly. This place was really welcoming and had a very “home-y” vibe.
The food might’ve just been my taste buds acting weird after being sick, but the chocolate shake I had was borderline flavorless. Same with the bacon. Everything else was fine, but I was quite shocked when I drank a shake that barely had any flavor, and the color added to it. The color to the shake was quite bland/white, and it wasn’t too satisfying to drink/consume.
Although, I would like to add I am NOT mad. Everything else (French toast and pancakes) was perfectly fine… At least from what I remember.

This place is excellent! Such great food, great vibes (welcoming staff and atmosphere), wonderful service (special shout out to our server Courtney who’s super kind and accommodating). What we had : biscuits and gravy, eggs and grits, chili cheese burger and fish sandwich…ordered peanut butter bars and pumpkin chocolate chip muffins to go. Everything was delicious. Well made, from scratch. Next time I’m definitely getting some of their iced coffee and pies! I’m originally from South Louisiana and NC so I can especially vouch that the biscuits and gravy and grits are legit. Will definitely be back. While there, visit the lovely consignment shop next door – has a great curation. This will be one of our new favorite places to visit.

Stopped by on our way back to Ny from camelback. Thank God, We did not rush the decision to eat. The wait was well worth it. Came on a Saturday morning, and the wonderful waitress showed us the specials. We got the sausage gravy w biscuits, and the banana-bread French toast. The food was beyond excellent. One of our best brunch experiences due to the friendly service and warm hospitality from our waitress to the whole staff. We will definitely be back as it is only a half hour ride from Rockland county.
