Your typical southern country cooking in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina. The sign says seafood. But it’s more about fried chicken, meatloaf and cooked vegetables. Enjoy. Update, Sunday buffet features BBQ and a few extras.

My experience at Mr bs for the first time was ok. The problem was I called in my food before they opened was told my food would be ready a few minutes after they opened. I ordered food for me and a friend who was on lunch. When I got there one plate was made and I waited an extra 10 minutes for the other plate. The lady was nice and very caring about what was going on, she kept checking in on me. Very nice friendly atmosphere. We order fried chicken, sweet potatoe, cabbage and Mac & cheese , we got a drink that came with meal a mixture of sweet tea and lemonade. The food was good but the Mac and cheese was a little runny. Other than that I would go back. Just when your are on a time limit you try to do things to prevent as stated earlier I did call ahead of time.

This was my first and last experience with Mr. B’s, and I will absolutely not be back. I called ahead to arrange a holiday lunch catering for my office, and when I specifically asked if they could accommodate a last-minute order for the next day, I was assured it would be no problem. We placed the order, scheduled for an 11am delivery in Camden, and I thought everything was set.
Fast forward to 11am this morning — no delivery. When we called to check, we were told, “She’s on the way.” Fine, we waited. At 11:45, we called again. This time, we were told a manager would call us back. It wasn’t until 12:21 that the delivery person finally showed up — no apology, just immediately demanding payment. “I’ll bring the invoice when I bring the food.” As if that wasn’t bad enough, the manager, Dan Goff, calls and informs us that “he will not be discounting anything” and that we could send the food back if we wanted. He then hung up on us.
After the shock wore off, and since my staff was already on their lunch break, we reluctantly decided to keep the food. What a mistake that turned out to be. The chicken was soggy, the sweet potatoes had no flavor, the macaroni and cheese was completely underseasoned, and the biscuits were hard as rocks. The banana pudding and cobbler didn’t taste done. For $250, the food was completely disappointing, and frankly, we would have been better off eating at McDonald’s.
This experience was a complete failure, and I’ll never be wasting my time or money with Mr. B’s again.

First time here. Went early on Sunday for lunch and I see why… Folks were lined up already. Buffet style set up–so much to choose from (crispy fried chicken, baked chicken, turkey, ham, dressing, mac-n-cheese, fried okra, mashed potatoes, two gravies, plus so much more and 4 different choices for dessert–banana pudding, yellow cake with chocolate frosting, strawberry cake and peach cobbler) it was hard to decide, so I had a little of just about everything. EVERYTHING was great, but my absolute favorite was the chicken. It was so crispy and juicy. The strawberry cake was so moist and delicious. I definitely plan to go back!!! I wish I had taken pictures.
