The hot dogs didn’t have any coleslaw, just a heap of onions in its place, guess they didn’t think I’d notice but I’m from the deep south. I know what you’re thinking, it’s just a hotdog. Yeah, it’s just a hotdog, you have to intentionally screw it up.
I was asked twice if I would like sauce to dip my hush puppies in, then received no sauce.
The oreo mint shake you ask? Well, it said oreo mint on the cup, but it was the regular Oreo flavor.

I had an incident at the Suffolk Cook Out on September 7, 2025, and I am extremely disappointed with how poorly it has been handled. On September 7, I submitted an online complaint right after the incident because if management behaves like the Manager did, it questions the efficiency and customer service level being coached by the company. This is what you have running your establishment? This is okay? Her crew will follow the behaviors for sure.
On September 10, I called corporate and was told the district manager would reach out. No one ever called.
On September 24, I called again and was told the same thing—that the DM would contact me. Still nothing.
On September 25, I called once more to get the DM’s name, only to be told there were no notes from the previous day. The representative said she would email both the district and regional managers. Again, no response.
On October 1, I had to file a complaint about the original complaint because nothing had been addressed.
This is four separate contacts and almost a month later, and I still haven’t heard from a manager. The lack of accountability and follow-up is unacceptable. If Cook Out corporate or management doesn’t take customer concerns seriously, it says a lot about how little they value their customers. So how many times should I call before it’s properly escalated, because I’m at 5!
