Social Profile:

We’ve moved from 1034 First Street to 3200 Bayshore Rd. (in the Benicia Industrial Park area). Currently, we are only doing pickups at this location. We also have a sit down restaurant across town at 810 W. 9th St. across from Alvarez Park (where the boat launch is). We serve Hawaiian comfort food, plate lunch – 2 scoops rice, mac salad and meat. We are known for our Loco Moco – fresh ground beef patties, homemade thick brown gravy, savory and smokey Kalua Pig and our delicious BBQ Chicken. SPAM Musubi is another favorite and add Wasabi sauce to give it that right amount of kick.

Laid-back nook with a tropical vibe & Hawaiian-style staples, plus outdoor seating.

First time here at Got Plate. They had pop-up vendors outside their restaurant which is what led me to come here. It’s a cute little spot with minimal seating inside but they also have outside dining which is cool. It had an island vibe: the food, the music and the people. The food was delicious. I like how the Mac wasn’t runny, because some do them runny.

I got the mixed plate, my friend got the mini KATSU plate and we shared a Shaka “garlic” fries. I was little disappointed with the portion size. Usually it’s big, didn’t get a lot of meat and I got three pieces of spam, I guess I expected something more. They were super busy so we waited a bit for our food. But, I was told they also get a lot of online and phone orders as well. But, it also looked like they short staffed. So when we got our fries it was cold. And barely tasted the garlic and furikaki.

It was nice that they had a public restroom but it was weird that you had to go behind the counter to get there. Seems like an inconvenience for the staff and the customers. But still a plus that they have one.

Had a friend recommend this place so stopped by after our dog’s vet appointment nearby. Sad to see banners and signs saying they lost their lease and would close 7/3/23. I ordered online from the vet’s office and it said 20 min. We got there and parked and it was a little longer than 20 min but there was a steady stream of customers eating there and getting takeout. I asked when my food came if they were relocating and was told there was a card in my bag. It says they’ll still do a truck and a pickup location for online orders.

All the food we ordered was delicious and I’ll definitely go back if possible when we go to the vet. We got an order of spam musubi that we ate in the car. It’s nice that they slice a typical musubi into 3 pieces, so you get 6 pieces total. But the smaller slices are easier to eat, especially in the car. Their kalua pork was more bbq than what I’m used to but it was still delicious. The combo I got had hamburger steak with gravy and BBQ pork, with rice and Mac salad. The portions were generous so I ate the hamburger and a few bites of pork then had enough leftover to have lunch the next day.

I am so mad at myself for only visiting this location for the first time. I have worked in the restaurant and service industry for years and this place really impressed me.

Olivia gave nice attentive service and the food was excellent. I had the spam, rice and eggs with a side of their homemade pineapple vinaigrette (not pictured) and I couldn’t resist leaving without their Ube Butter Mochi (pictured)…I had a wonderful afternoon enjoying it by the water.

Cute little Hawaiian spot, the food was delicious at reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly. Outdoor seating available and it’s literally across the street from the park. Pretty decent portions, the kalua pork tater tots are a must try, we got two orders!

We had ordered online a few appetizers to try this restaurant out. The volcano chicken & chips were amazing with addictive tortilla chips, glad we ordered two. The crispy kalua tots were also enjoyable but unfortunately the musabi fell a bit short. I loved that it was garnished with furikaki and beautifully presented but I was told it was quite dry with the plain rice overpowering everything else that should have paired with it.

This is the 1st time trying out this place. We ordered the garlic shrimp and MuWasabi. We noticed the garlic shrimp did not come with lime wedges. The only reason I brought this up is because we usually put lime/lemon on these kinds of food + looking at pictures; there are lime wedges. There are no pictures of the MuWasabi because it was delicious as we finished it before we can snap pictures. The garlic shrimp was okay. We might other things on the menu when we are in the area again.

The counter lady no personality at all, a little rude, no eye contact and no kind of welcoming smile. The food was overpriced. We ordered the food the lady in the counter was rude that I was taking my time to look at the menu.

We ordered BBQ mix with only two choice of meat. Pork and Kahlúa pig and katsu chicken. The young girl who brought us the food was the only ounce friendly.
The food overpriced was just okay nothing to celebrate about. Katsu chicken though was burnt. They should really change their sign to not being rated the best Hawaiian in Solano county. Nothing nabout this restaurant is Hawaiian. Disappointed

It was our first time here. I’m glad we stopped. AWESOME FOOD. My wife had the Loco Moco and I had the Blue Hawaiian Sliders with a side of Crispy Tots. It all was great. Highly recommend!

This is the best Hawaiian food I’ve ever had, nothing disappoints, the khalua pork is off the hook! The BBQ chicken a safe 1st time try, and the loco moco was killer! The beef patty was so savory and juicy. Would def suggest this place and the plates are very fair priced.
