Amazing food that tastes just like in India! Ordered the kadhi pakora and gobhi parantha — both were freshly made, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Great portion size and authentic taste.
Also ordered hot n sour soup and papdi chat which were also really good.
Staff is also nice and friendly.
Highly recommend for authentic Indian dhaba taste and definitely coming back again!

It is very hard to find Indian restaurants with all vegetarian options for people with religious or dietary restrictions. This is one of the few all vegetarian restaurants in the US and probably only one in the Vermont. That being said issue is their menu is huge! Because of this the quality of food starts to suffer. If I were to manage the restaurant, I’ll cut down menu in half to improve the quality and flavor of the food. For example, they served vada pav without vada in it with just potato mash between pav. I would not mind the approach if tasted authentic but it didn’t. I ordered bhel puri and it was not authentic taste either. You may ask about the taste, answer is depends on what you order. owners and cooks are Punjabi so their Punjabi dishes are excellent but dishes from other states lacks flavors. It may be tasty or it may be downright no flavor. I ordered chow main samosas and it had no flavor but other dishes like pani puri had flavors but didn’t taste authentic all. They sell all the dishes you can think of including dosas! I didn’t get to try everything but got an idea from few things I ordered. Do try their food especially Punjabi food and you won’t be disappointed. Other menu items can be hit or miss. Service was lighting fast and food flew out of kitchen. May be because I went to this place past dinner time close to closing. Hosts are very warm and welcoming. Restaurant is bit small but can accommodate about 20-25 people at a time. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area or around smugglers notch.

This place is outstanding and owned by the kindest family. I asked for recommendations and we loved every single thing, especially the Paneer Masala. We ordered our food “pretty spicy” and it had the perfect heat. My daughter has celiac and there are many great gluten free options. She loved the Mango Lassi. Prices are more than fair. Can’t wait to go again soon and try more dishes!

I was visiting Stowe for the weekend and decided to drive all the way to Burlington just to satisfy my craving for authentic Indian food — and it was absolutely worth it.
We ordered Punjabi dishes, and everything was spot-on: rich flavors, perfect spice balance, and freshly made. The food reminded me of home, which is something you don’t often find when traveling.
The staff was incredibly humble, attentive, and understanding — they made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. You can tell they take pride in what they do, from the food to the service.
If you’re anywhere near Burlington or Stowe and want real Indian food, this place is a must-visit. I’d easily give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Strictly vegetarian restaurant. I didn’t know it was a vegetarian restaurant until I asked the server if there’s any meat dishes. Either way everything was good. It was a little salty for my taste bud but overall great experience. Definitely order the vege spring roll.

My friend and I enjoyed a leisurely 3 hr lunch at this wonderful establishment. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, taking time to describe the items we asked about on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious… prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back to try other dishes and recommend Namaste Garden to our friends.

THE BEST INDIAN FOOD in state of Vermont!!!!This is a must-visit! The food at Namaste garden was absolutely phenomenal, with every dish bursting with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Our server (owner as well) was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. The atmosphere was cozy, I love the fact that they had some outside seating area as well. We highly recommend chole bhature that my husband and i enjoyed a lot! We definitely plan to go there soon.

I just wonder who are the people who gave them 4.9 rating for their restaurant? I drove 22 miles just in the hope that their food would be good but the moment I tried it oh my god, it was pathetic. I ordered shahi thaali it was ridiculous in taste. Their food goes to the worst foods I’ve tasted in the United States. I’m an Indian I know the taste of Indian food and these people are selling garbage at their restaurant. Their naans weren’t even cooked properly. I ruined my dinner. Their restaurant deserves a visit from the food inspectors.

The hosts were very courteous. As soon as we entered, we were politely greeted by Sandeep and he instantly arranged a table for 5 for us. We ordered via phone and the food was ready within 10 minutes, as soon as we arrived. The potato/onion chilli naan were very good. The service was very prompt and one of the most efficient I have ever seen. The place, though lowkey, is a homely stop run by a family and is welcoming and considerate of its guests. A great experience overall!

Below average food in authentic taste. Service was good. We went with high expectations but were disappointed. We ordered gobhi Manchurian, Masala Dosa, Paneer Butter Masala, malai kofta and naan, Lachlan paratha. Gobhi was not friend and was not gelled into the gravy as it should be. Sambhar was more like Daal. Paneer Butter Masala was fine but ask it to be spicy. We didn’t like medium. Malai kofta only 5 small pieces and were below average taste. Chef knows how to cook but definitely can get better. There are many awesome places I can point out which serve great taste of North Indian food in New Jersey. Won’t recommend. Hopefully owner reads this honest review and invests time and energy in improving his dishes.
