I’ve ordered here about 6 or 7 times now and I can say that the employees care about their work and the food has been consistent. Works at a fast casual restaurant in downtown Portland isn’t an easy job but the experience has always been good here.

Came here around 6pm on a Wednesday and the staff serving me was so nice!! Got a steak/chicken bowl with chips. I will say, the chips I got were pretty stale but the serving size made up for it, so I really appreciated it!

The workers here always make me feel like I’m bothering them by showing up. Tonight was the worst with a younger blonde girl making zero effort to be friendly or inviting. I honestly won’t eat the food I got now since I feel like it was made with such distain. They were also out of multiple things I wanted with no apology offered. Oh well, this is what we get for prioritizing cheap food over quality service.

Dirty restaurant, the person who took my order was very polite but he gave 1/2 portions of everything. The food didn’t even reach the midway of the bowl. I didn’t complain and thanked him! Nice hard working folks but man the bad us economy is making these big companies get stingy. All the Tabasco bottles were empty and there was no salt or pepper shakers or napkins. All meat options were out except for chicken and there was just a half canister and they weren’t firing anything new and it’s only 2pm! My bowl with only chicken rice and guac was $16…. Not to mention I noticed the mobile order station said “No Orders” things are rough!

Update 09/2024: Decided to try this place again and to give the brisket a shot. Ordered a bowl for delivery via the app. Literally opened it to a moth stuck to a piece of lettuce. Thank God it was on top and not found half way through. Seriously….this place is awful.
Original Review: This place is disgusting and the customer service is horrible. I’ve filed a complaint and their response was “we’ll forward your complaint to the team. Here’s a free entree to use within the next 30 days. Unfortunately we won’t be refunding your $13.00”. This is not the first time I’ve made this complaint so they clearly do not care. It’s seriously disgusting in there and I would not trust the food at all. I will be sending these photos and the additional photos I took to the health department that’s how bad it was.
Original complaint sent to customer service:
“Received the wrong order. When we went in, they barely helped us and weren’t communicating at all so I wasn’t even sure if I should wait or get back in line. When I asked, they just mumbled and ignored me so I just stood there. There was no one in line and they even prepped another online order before helping me. The prep line was disgusting and there looks to be mold growing in between the glass?? I won’t be coming back to this chipotle for so many reasons. When I got back home with the correct order, the chicken was so flavorless it was like I was eating mush with queso. I literally paid for a bad experience and bad food.”

The food is ok. There are way better options in Portland, but if you like Chipotle, to each their own. My main gripe is the rice seems consistently undercooked. Slightly crunchy. I used to visit this location occasionally because it was across the street from home. I usually combined the meal with a few alcoholic drinks, which I usually paid for the next day, if you know what I mean. Definitely better than a soggy sandwich or grab and go deli options at a local grocery store. Good enough if you are starving.
