Enjoyed these Polish Tots made with homemade tater tots, sliced kielbasa, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, and melted cheddar. Yum!! Nicely remodeled inside, looks clean, and odor free too. Staff is prompt and super friendly. They offer take out for their food.

Stopped in on a whim on Friday for a fish fry and I was blown away. Only a few pieces left so we were lucky but It was sooooo good!! Who ever is the cook there sure knows what they are doing! Mac n cheese could have been a little better but all in all it was a really really good meal! I will def be back!

Laufer’s Pub in Yorkville, advertises and encourages people to call ahead to “Get those fish fry orders in!” So, I did just that. I called and asked if they still had fish fry’s available a little after 5 on a Friday, and the girl who answered said that they did. I then asked to reserve two fish fry’s for 6:30. They call me at 6:00 o’clock literally stating “We tried to hold them for you but we had to sell them to a table that just walked in the door.” Like what?!? I asked what was the point of calling ahead to reserve then? The girls response was simply repeating they had to sell them to people who “just a walked in”. Even after I informed the girl I was about to turn in the parking lot (we were literally at the light when she called. We were running early.) she made absolutely no offer to make it right in ANY WAY. This was absolutely the worst way to treat a customer. To make it that more upsetting, I was taking a 70 year old family member ( who never goes out for a bite and a drink) here as treat for the fish fry! Planned days ahead, she even dressed up for this little night out. This was handled incredibly poorly. This screams poor management, family ran or not. I do not patronize establishments that do not care about their customers. Laufer’s Pub in Yorkville does not care about their customers and it shows! It wouldn’t had taken much to correct this situation but again, they don’t care about their customers at all. Unacceptable. Two thumbs down!

Absolutely poor management. I was there enjoying myself with family and friends as I was accused of urinating all over the bathroom. Zero apologies after they concluded who had urinated all over the bathroom very unacceptable and rude people to treat customers that are there supporting local business this way, along with having false accusations… humiliating .

Bar food is great. Reasonable prices on food and drink. Make sure to try their fancy tatortots as they do them many different ways. If you were there before they took over you wouldn’t recognize how great the place could look. Great job.

Excellent Fish Fry! The hush puppies were a nice touch. Fries were seasoned perfectly. Fish batter was tasty but not overwhelming. Service was great as well.

Walked in, waited 10 minutes (with several open tables and no one but us waiting) after being acknowledged but never seated. Eventually just took our own seats. 10 more minutes without being approached by anyone and we just left for Greek down the road.
